虽然来源于身边社会，但不可让描述方式变的太鸡毛蒜皮，拿不上台面。其实这点非常容易办到，只需要把事件中某一个具体的你，我，他，变成是客观群体，比如说people across the globe, students, they之类的人称即可。
举例的常见表达方式：

其次，在举例时还应注意尺度。
1. 应避免使用第一人称和第二人称，为了加强客观性，应将人称写成第三人称。
改正：Those people who raise pets, such as dogs and cats, are more likely to gain happiness and relieve their loneliness.（那些养宠物，例如养猫和养狗的人往往更容易获得快乐并且缓解孤独感）
2. 应避免引用一项调查研究，并同时伴有过多数据。应将数据去掉，用含糊的方法表示。
改正：There is much evidence to show that the number of people smoking has increased at an alarming rate in China. （大量证据表明。。。）
3. 应避免将例子局限在一个国家，尤其是中国。应将范围放至全世界。
改正：Many children around the world like to sit in front of the screen for a long time, leading to their poor eyesight.（在全世界，许多孩子在屏幕前待太久，导致了他们的视力减弱。

早在2006年，我国教育部、卫生部、国家体育总局，以及科技部、国家民委等五个部委，面向公众公布了当年全国各类学生体质与健康的调研报告结果。调研结果表明，全国在校学生近视率居高不下，初中学生近视率上升比例最大，与2000年相比学生近视率增加了8.7%；7-22岁的学生肥胖率还在继续增加，标肺活量、耐力素质、爆发力素质、速度素质等反而呈整体下降趋势水平。有学者研究了我国1985-2010年的全国学生体质的有关数据，得出的结论与五部委向社会公布的完全吻合，这进一步说明，我国学生的各项身体机能、运动素质、健康指标呈下降趋势。他们提供的统计数据中，我国城市男生肥胖率在2010年达到惊人的13.3%，超过世界卫生组织公布的10%肥胖安全临界点。所以无论是五部委向社会公布的统计数据，还是学者们的诸多研究成果，都充分表明我国在校学生体质状况很不乐观，出现了连年下降的严重趋势，这就更有必要先从社会学的角度探析发生这些问题的根本原因。

期中考试结束了，当试卷发下来的时候，让我大吃一惊，英语成绩竟然出乎我的意料之外的好，数学也是一样，只有语文稍微差了点，但也考了90分。回家后，我对自己好好地进行了反思。
在期中考试之前的一段时间里，我没有好好地把握住时间，虽然说在考试前几天，有不懂的问题也知道问老师，抓紧了复习，可是已经晚了。不然我一定可以考得更好。
再看看整张试卷。语文方面，我前面的基础和阅读做得很好，只扣了两分，但作文却扣了有八分之多，这和我平时不注重好词号段的积累有很大的关系。英语方面，我的阅读能力有待提高……
数学考了98分，虽然我没有拿到卷子，不知道错在什么地方，但我每到考试的时候总因紧张而很着急，为此，我想出了几个办法。1.解答题时，不要急于下笔，要先在草稿纸上列出这道题的主要步骤，然后按照步骤一步步做下来，不忽略每一个细节，尽量把每一道题都答得完整;2.平时多做一些不同类型的题，这样就会对大多数题型熟悉，拿到试卷心中就有把握;3.适当做一些计算方面的练习，让自己不在计算方面失分。我想如果我能做到我以上提到的这几点，我一定能把考试中的失误降到最低。因此，我一定会尽力做到以上几点的。
妈妈鼓励我说，一次考试考的好与不好都没有关系，只要你能找出错的原因，克服不良习惯，以后加倍努力，学习成绩就能保持在前列。经过反思，使我知道了学习不能松劲，只要一松劲，学习成绩就会一落千丈，一发不可收拾。
