随着科技的'进步，时代的发展，这小小的杆秤现在已几乎很少人使用了。一次，我看见妈妈在做面包，面粉倒在一台小机器上。小机器立刻在屏幕上显示出重量。三下五除二不到一会儿，妈妈就把各种材料称好了。我赞许的说：“电子秤太方便了不到一会就称好了，现代的科技真是日新月异，好发达呢!”妈妈说：“是啊! 现在的科技可真正好、快、准呀!”
在商场、菜市场里还有更高级的电子秤。把蔬菜果品放在秤上，不到眨眼功夫单价、总价、重量等都一一都显示出来了。多方便，多快呀!要不是这新科技估计商场天天要排长龙了。看!再小的单位新型电子秤都能显示得出来从克到毫克到微克、纳克……它们在很多高新科技、军事、航天事业中都起到了至关重要的作用。
如今，我们的科技在飞快的进步，随着时间流逝，不少古代常用物品已慢慢走向历史的舞台，取而代之的新科技推动了人类的进程，正是因为我国科技的不断发展日益强大，人们才有这崭新而美好的新生活。

在这次假期里，突如其来的一场疫情改变了人们的一切生活方式。
本来计划好的一切活动都取消了，每个人都要呆在家里不能外出，不能去亲戚家串门，每家每户每两天只允许一个人外出一次，采购生活用品。我们开学的日期被延期了，在家里面上起了网课，生活全被改变了。好想念同学们，想念老师在课堂上的讲课声。
终于到了开学的日子了，开学前一天，班主任在钉钉上开了一次家长会，就是关于如何进校的。虽然开学了，但是不能和以前一样背着书包和同学们一起开开心心地进校门了。学校大门口的两旁立着“请保持1米距离”的字板，而且还围了一排排的围栏，设立了距离1米的警示线，进校门后，还要量体温要消毒手。
课间不能和同学一起玩耍，吃午饭时每个同学都要架起隔板，午间也不能去操场上玩了，校园生活全被改变了。
好想念以前那种和同学们一起在操场上跑玩耍、游戏的画面。我希望疫情快点结束，这样人们就可以恢复正常的生活了，我也可以和同学和好朋友一起去玩耍了。

疫情期间，我们的生活被改变了。以前我与人们觉得握个手，呼吸一下新鲜空气是再平常不过的事情了；可是现在，这种稀松平常的事儿却如此珍贵。
以前在学校里上各种各样的课是有些人觉得很枯燥的事儿，可是由于疫情，我们就是想上课也上不了。后来当疫情缓和的时候，我们才开始上课(还只是上网课。在这时，我们班的很多人都近视了。到了最后，学校才复了课。可是麻烦事不请自来，我们为了进校门得戴口罩、测体温，中午还得加隔离板吃饭。连游泳课都被改成了上“陆地课”了。
除了上课外，就连进出小区、买菜的事儿都是很麻烦的。进出小区要看健康码，还要把人打一“枪”，这一“枪”，那一“枪”，次数多得能让人发疯。买菜好像有生命危险似的，见谁怀疑谁，回家后马上来一次超级巨型清理，每次半瓶消毒液用光。
希望生活能快点回到疫情发生前的样子。

Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free.
exclaimed： “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any.
repayment of your favour； but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”

Afraid that he would fall down thousands of feet, because he knew that place was a very deep valley, he took hold of a branch that was hanging over the rock. In the night all he couls see was a bottomless abyss. He shouted, his own shout reflected back--there was nobody to hear.
You can imagine that man and his whole night of scare. Every moment there was death, his hands were becoming cold, he was losing his gripand as the sun came out he looked down and he laughed. There was no abyss. Just six inches down there was a rock. He could have rested the whole night, slept well---the rock was big enough---but the whole night was a nightmare.
Fear is only six inches deep. Now it is up to you whether you want to go on cling to the branch and turn your life into a nightmare, or whether you would love to leave the branch and stand on your feet.
There is nothing to fear.
