牛杂粉汤是廉江的一大特色美食，虽说我不是廉江人，但我生在廉江，长在廉江，自然也把廉江视为我的家乡，而我对这一特色美食是既了解也喜欢的。这种美食是用独制的牛杂和汤料，包含八角、茴香、花椒、陈皮等各种香料，配上廉江人特制的粉条做成的，味道鲜甜而香浓。
春天到来的时候，天气还是有些冷，这时人们只要上街区吃上一碗可口的牛杂粉汤，下田干活就会有动力。因为牛杂粉汤营养丰富，特别那汤，是用猪骨经过慢火熬制成的营养汤底加上新鲜可口的牛杂烹制而成的，那香味，让人垂涎三尺。
夏天来了，人们会在牛杂粉汤里放进一种药材，使其麻而不辣，油而不腻，炎炎夏日，人们吃了也不会上火，使人吃了还想再吃。耐不住闷热的人们恨不得都跑上街去吃上一口热乎乎的牛杂粉汤，好把那股闷着身体里的劲全都暴发出来。
秋天，凉风吹着落叶，把牛杂粉汤的辣性给吹走了，带来的是微微的甜意。在秋天吃这种粉汤的时候，人们会在里面放一点蜂蜜，让它尝起来咸中带甜，又有点点涩涩的味道，香味独特，确是人间第一大美味。
冬天来了，那就是这个美食的最受追捧季节。人们纷纷到街上买回牛杂粉汤，几分，十几份，二十几份，不到几下功夫，牛杂粉汤就被”哄抢而光”。在这寒冷的季节里，回家跟家人吃个“粉汤宴”，人们会挑出最长的粉给家里的.老人，寓意长寿无疆。
美食的诱惑力是无限的，这道让廉江人无法忘怀的美食--牛杂粉汤，一年四季都深受着各地人们的喜爱。

当我吃完的时候起身离开，老板娘又很热情的跟我说了再见还笑呵呵的让我下次再来，我回头点头示意了下老板的离别，手插在衣服口袋里，深深的吸舒了口气，想起老板娘的热情，想起那碗暖暖的馄饨，心头一暖，不觉得嘴角也偷偷扬起了微笑。

走着走着，便有阵阵香气扑鼻而来——是从那家牛肉汤店中传过来的！
我点了一碗牛肉汤，坐下来细细品尝，喝着这美味的牛肉汤，思绪被拉到了三年前。
还是同样的店，同样的碗，同样的牛肉汤，但那时却是我和太婆在一起品尝。
“天底下居然有如此美味的汤啊！”我说道，“牛可真是种好动物。”
“嗯！可谁曾经想起牛在默默无语地耕地？老了就老了，养着不就是为了卖钱吗？”太婆笑着对我说。“可……”我竟说不出话来了，突然感到手中的碗再也举不到嘴边。
太婆见我犹豫了，说：“喝吧！牛终究会老，与其老死，不如在它无能力耕地时做成一碗碗牛肉汤，让人们尝一尝，让人们充充饥。小文文啊，你是愿意自己做出贡献还是等着别人做出贡献呢？”
“但是…就留个完整的尸体…也不行吗？”
“唉，人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全啊！有的人死得轻如鸿毛，有的人则重于泰山！”太婆的脸上露出了严肃之情。
很不幸，太婆去年10月中旬因病离开了我们。她在临死之前最后说：“捐出……我……我所有……能用的……器官……”
随着店老板的一声叫卖声，我的思绪被拉了回来。那碗牛肉汤是我喝过最好的.汤！
