就像是那些有钱没处花的.暴发户，一掷千金去抢购奢侈品，用名牌把自己武装到牙齿却难掩满身铜臭；就像那些附庸风雅的高官，费尽心思淘来古董装饰办公室，言辞还是一样肤浅无知；还有那些盲目追求时尚的年轻人，千篇一律的浓妆华服下，个性早已成了所谓潮流的牺牲品……这样的行为，或许能让他们自我陶醉于高品位的美梦，但在真正高品位的人眼里这又是何等的滑稽！
要知道，高品位指的是内在的高贵，而不是外在的富或者美。品位不是用钱堆成的，不是用古董装饰出来的，不是用化妆打扮能美化的。它有着深刻的内在意义，想要改变就一定要从内在里改革。
抛开肤浅冲动的想法，静下心来彻底地改变自己吧。想要气质不凡就要用阅读陶冶情操，想要理智深刻就要磨去年少清狂的棱角；想要铁肩担道义就要放下朝三暮四的幻想……或许，这已不仅仅是加工玉石般的打磨，更像是凤凰涅槃的新生。人的品位，不只是来源于先天的赐予，更是历经艰苦磨练后的获得。
这样的品位，是钻石般高洁纯粹的光，无法靠拙劣的伎俩模仿，也不会被轻易磨灭。梅花就算零落成泥碾作尘也可清香如故，青松即使大雪满枝狂风肆虐也可高洁依旧。韦鸣恩，这位出身贫民窟的高材生为慈善教育事业不懈奋斗。他的品位，已远远胜过了人民贵族的光环。而著名的平民总统林肯也是出身贫寒，历尽坎坷但仍为改变不合理的制度不懈奋斗。终成大业后，他的品位同样被历史铭记。穷且益坚，不坠青云之志的古训，激励着不甘在困境中沉沦的人们，他们磨练出自己的品位，坚守着自己的品位，最终，他们的生命也因此大放光彩。

5.失衡句
whether or not he will come is still unknown to all the people present.

当然，句子并不是越长越好，也不是越复杂水平就越高。凡事皆有度。太多长句的堆砌让人觉得是买弄。有时侯，一个短小精辟的句子可以起到画龙点睛的作用。特别是在文末段尾。比如：
