We take out our kites, mine are butterfly, my friends are birds, all are so funny. I start to let my kite fly, but it could not, so I run faster and faster, then my kite flies, I go let go it gradually. A few minutes later, my friends’ kites are also flying.

到了目的地，一下车我就看见一条青灰色的城墙宛如一条玉带把虞山分成了两半。接着我们沿着台阶慢慢往上走，一开始大家都很兴奋，有的边走边在东张西望着；有的边走边嬉闹着；有的还在比赛谁跑得快。大概过了十几分钟，我觉得心跳加速了，手心出汗了，脚有些发软了。这时我真想坐下来休息啊，可是我转念一想，古时候劳动人民修建城墙时，没有机械设备，只能用肩挑、用手抬，把这些大石块运上山，可我现在徒手往上走还觉得很困难，真是不应该。于是，我没有停下来，一鼓做气走到了最高处。虽然我累得气喘吁吁、双腿发软，但是很开心。山上的空气很清新，一阵阵凉爽的秋风迎面吹来，还带来了一股幽香，好舒服。我站在城墙上往四处眺望，整个虞城的`美景尽收眼底。远处可看见秀美的尚湖，湖水在阳光的映照下，湖面波光粼粼。近处一幢幢楼房错落有致；一条条马路像蜘蛛网一样四通八达。
我们在山顶上休息一会，就开始往下走了。沿途我们还看见了历史悠久的古炮台、依山而建的亭台楼阁、郁郁葱葱的参天大树。下城墙很轻松，不一会儿就到了出口中。回头看看古老的城墙，再看看眼前繁华的都市，不禁令人浮想联翩……
