summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

灼热的\'金色阳光烘烤着大地，植物们无力地耷拉着叶子。我和爸爸正津津有味地吃着午饭，整个屋子里静得只有风扇“呼呼”着的声音。
“啊——”一声尖叫响彻云霄。我和爸爸诧异地停下筷子，一起头看着声源的主人——正瞪着两只眼睛说不出话来的妈妈。我用纳闷的眼神斜了一眼妈妈：“噪音污染！”
“好……好多……虫子呀……”妈妈结结巴巴、支支吾吾道。
“不就是虫子嘛，有什么好大惊小怪的！”我不以为然地从鼻子里“哼”了一声，“您老没见过虫子吗？”
妈妈好一会儿才缓过神来：“可、可是它们……都在柠檬树上啊！叶子都被啃光了
话音未落，我扔下筷子，“啪”的一声一溜烟冲向阳台。柠檬树啊柠檬树，我用了一年时间让你好吃好喝，悉心照顾，花费了不少时间、精力、金钱和心血啊！怎么……怎么会有虫子呢？！
走进一瞧，青翠的柠檬树上，一条条棕色与绿色相间的不知名的可恶虫子正舒舒服服大口大口地啃着柠檬花、柠檬叶，还有那一个个可怜的小小柠檬也未能逃过“毒口”。有的还“目中无人”，无视我充满仇恨的目光，吃饱喝足后，竟然还惬意地享受着日光浴，躺在叶子上做着香甜的白日梦！
我狠狠地咬了咬牙，拿起水壶一阵猛喷、按常理虫子都怕水呀，怎么……它们看起来还挺悠闲的！我在用牙签轻轻一挑，咦，怎么纹丝不动呢？在用力一点。原来它们像胶水一样牢牢地粘在了叶子上！我突然觉得肚子里翻江倒海，真想一下子吐它们一身！自认聪明的我忽然心生一计，拿起一瓶强效***虫剂正准备“大开***戒”，谁料“半路***出个程咬金”——妈妈慌慌忙忙地按住我的手：“不行啊，一喷下去，柠檬树也会受损，叶子会枯黄的！”
那怎么办呢？我绞尽脑汁，急得如同”热锅上的蚂蚁——团团”，也想不出一个两全其美的好办法。
这时，还是妈妈有办法。她拿来一个大大的铁镊子，让我把虫子一条条夹下来，扔到下水道里。我使劲地咽了咽口水，颤颤巍巍地接过镊子，让妈妈扶住树枝。
我一边夹，一边恶狠狠地自言自语：“该死的虫子，我今天就好好收拾你们！居然敢在太岁头上动土……”每夹下一条虫子，妈妈就惊恐地尖叫一声。一条小小的虫子也怕，看来这些虫子还真是“损人利己”啊。
经过半个多小时的“艰苦作战”，“虫子大军”总算被消除掉了，我视力不好，不知道有没有把全部虫子都扔到下水道里。不过我们拍拍胸口，长长地舒了一口气。
总算可以吃顿好饭了。

我跑进大厅的厨房，开始做吃的。你一定很纳闷，难道我家变成公寓了？其实现在的房子都是一间大房加一间小房还带一个小花园。大方和小房都有两层，大房是大人住的，小房是小朋友和科技宠物住的。
吃的做好了，我把食物拿到了小房的第二层，我们家的第二层是多功能的，我按下遥控器上的餐厅键，这里立刻就变成餐厅，宠物们都跑了上来，在各自的位置上开始狼吞虎咽，我也坐在自己的位置上吃了起来。
在吃饭之时我还得给你介绍一下科技宠物。科技宠物的世界是一个在空中的世界，W博士把它命名为“天空之国”。科技宠物之所以能像人一样说话是因为他们有像人一样的发音声带，他们的骨头是用不锈钢做的，肉是人工肉，他们的头脑和人一样发达。一般个性和主人一样（之所以他们会狼吞虎咽也是这个道理）。这个时候的小朋友和科技宠物都能上班，我的工作是科技公司董事长。我的科技宠物共有5只，糖果是一只母企鹅，她的工作是天空之国科技公司总经理和天空之国特级画家。还有一只公企鹅叫可乐，他的工作是天空之国科技公司总经理，他们两的品种很少。还有一只蓝色的公凤凰叫蓝凤，体型较大，他的\'工作是天空之国武器部队总司令。还有一只乌龟叫乐尔，他和真的乌龟一样爱睡觉，他的工作是天空之国特级武器发明家。最后一只是一种流浪宠物，因为他们长期在外面流浪很容被受欺负，所以他们有些方面比一般宠物要强，（这是W博士他们弄的，因为强，所以很多人想要，只好让他们流浪到哪家哪家要好了）他的性别是公，叫做火，因为全身上下都是火红的，他还会飞，他的工作是天空之国科技公司副总经理和天空之国一级画家。
吃完饭我们又和往常一样。可乐搞他的发明，糖果在画画，乐尔在发明武器，火在照着自己的发明写生，蓝凤在研究武器，我也在发明东西。大家各忙各的，都不知道对方在做什么，有时我们还这样忙了一天呢！要是想停下来就得有一个人找不到事干或者有一个人的发明泡汤了，这样那个停下来的就能让没停下来的人停下来。还好这次可乐的发明泡汤了，大家不用忙一天了。
可乐问：“下午干嘛？”火回答：“今天天气好，去天空之国的渔翁湖钓鱼吧！”“赞同！”火的话音未落糖果、乐尔、可乐齐声说到。哦！差点忘了，这三个可是鱼的天敌。拿上天空之国的电梯卡，我们就在电梯站坐上电梯直达天空之国。
可乐、糖果、乐尔骑在蓝凤身上，我扒着火，我们就飞向了渔翁湖。到了那里，一看，人真多啊！可乐拿出了六根自动鱼竿，我们一人一根就开始钓鱼了。因为鱼竿是自动的，所以不费吹灰之力就钓到了很多鱼，有一次我还把在水里游泳的糖果掉了起来……
过了一个下午一共掉到了1、2、3、……24、25条鱼真是大丰收啊！我看见那三个鱼天敌的口水都要掉下来了，于是就急忙把他们带回去了。
回到家，正好赶上吃晚饭。我们把一部分鱼养了起来，还有一部分就变成晚餐了，然后又是一场狼吞虎咽……
美好的一天就过去了。
