正当我陶醉在视频中时我抬头一看，呀，不好！五点半了，妈妈要回来了！我赶紧收拾好积木坐到书桌前，拿出本子装模作样开始做起作业来。
妈妈进门换了鞋子来到我身边，我心里发虚，小心肝扑通扑通地都快跳出嗓子眼了，妈妈问了作业情况啥话没说。我心里悬着的石头也终于落了地。
到了晚上九点多，我还在进行下午没有完成的语文试卷订正，是一篇看图写话，我想了一会儿，不知道该怎么写，就不想写了，让妈妈告诉我怎么写，妈妈苦口婆心地给我讲起来。我一边听着一边右手拿着橡皮在书桌上擦起了一层橡皮屑，左手捻起橡皮屑搓成一个小长条，妈妈见了脸上浮起了一丝愠色。
我刚写了两个字又忘了妈妈刚才是怎么说的，又让妈妈再说一遍，左手一边又拿起笔帽在手里把玩起来，见状妈妈皱起了眉头，眼睛瞪着我的脸，一脸严肃，声音也提高了八度：“回来到现在我一直忍着想让你自己自觉，结果你还是一边做作业一边做小动作，一点不专心，太没自觉心了！”
听了妈妈的话我羞愧难当，是啊，我磨磨蹭蹭浪费了一晚上的时间，学没学好，玩也没玩好。没有自觉，没有专心的'投入，学习效率总是那么低下。
从那以后，我暗下决心：我要有自觉心，要好好管理自己的时间，改掉拖沓的坏毛病。我现在也一天比一天做得更好。
每个人都有自己的缺点和优点，如果扬长避短，有自觉心，就能展现出更好的自己，获得更大的进步。正如邹韬奋先生所说：“所谓自觉心，简言之，即自觉有何长处，便当极力保存儿更发扬光大；自觉有何短处，便当极力避免而更奋发有为。”所以说，自觉心是进步之母啊。
