i am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, december sooner, but when i have told you the reason, i trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. when your letter arrived, i was just in hong kong. as my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when i took it up. now the first thing i have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.

老妈，你是家里的财政总管，对于老爸的钱你总是管的很紧，而给我花钱你总是毫不吝啬。记忆中你们总是因为钱而吵架。有一年过年，老爸打麻将打的很频繁，输了不少钱，你就跟老爸吵了起来，吵的很凶。而每次我去学校的时候，你总是跟我说，没钱了就打电话回来，在外面吃好穿好，好好照顾自己!
老爸，我从小就很粘你，不知道是不是别人说，男孩跟母亲亲，女孩跟父亲亲的缘故。跟别家的父亲不一样，您从来没打过我。每次我跟老妈吵架的时候，你总是充当“和平使者”，东劝劝，西说说。我和老妈都是倔脾气，家里少了你，说不定哪天就“战火纷飞”了!
我的生命中重要的人有很多很多，但是不管怎样，最重要滴肯定是你们两个啦!

亲爱的的爸爸、妈妈：
你们好!
2016年即将过去，但是你们在这一年里教育我的轻声曼语如同涓涓细细流涌进了我的心田。
记得那是今年社区举行的一次捐款活动。在妈妈您的陪同下，我们来到了社区活动的地点。那天，捐款的人不少，我们排着队，等待着。没过多久，就轮到我们了。您打开皮包，从里头取出几张崭新的100元人民币，毫不犹豫地交给了那位收钱的阿姨。“那么多啊!”您这一举动，让在场的人都惊呆了，当时连我也吃惊极了。我疑惑不解地问你：“妈妈，我们为什么捐那么钱啊?”您只是微微一笑，抚摸着我的头说：“孩子，世界上有好多贫困的地方，有许多像你一样大的孩子，但是他们的生活却远远不如你，他们需要我们伸出援助之手去帮助他们。孩子，你说妈妈这样做对吗?”我听着您的话，看着您那慈爱的双眼，下决心也要学着您的样，为山区那些贫困的孩子献出自已的一片爱心。让他们也过上幸福的生活。
爸爸，女儿也想和您说说，我知道您工作很忙，但您的身传言教却给了我许多人生启迪。
还记得那一次吗?三月份的一天，您出去了，我在您的书桌前摆弄起您心爱的派克笔。我左看看，右瞧瞧，不时还在纸上写字、画画。正当我玩得起劲时，一不小心，派克笔掉在地上。当我又准备在纸上画画时，却怎么也写不出字来。我一下子慌了神，不知所措。为了不受您的批评，我偷偷地把笔藏了起来，并没有主动承认错误。晚上，您回来后，写字时怎么也找不到这支笔了，但您看到书桌上的痕迹就明白是我的“杰作”。可您不但没骂我，反而对我说：“女儿，你知道爸爸的座右铭吗?”说完在纸上写下“真诚做人，勤奋做事”八个字。我呆呆地望着您，顿时，脸“唰”地红了，感到这句话的份量和责任，现在这八个字也成了我的座右铭。
亲爱的爸爸妈妈，回顾这2007年，女儿真心感谢你们，感谢你们在我成长的道路上用行动和语言告诉了我许多做人的道理，祝你们
在新的一年里工作顺利，开开心心!
