今日是母亲大人的生日，而我却在异乡，未能归家与您一同庆祝，心中油然而生出一股愧疚。
曾记，我还是幼儿时，体弱多病，母亲经常炖一些参汤之类的补品送去幼稚园给我喝。逢年过节，会有买鸡鸭的习俗，妈妈总是会把鸡腿鸭腿放在我碗里。
儿时，我喜欢吃草莓，但我吃得不多。妈妈就在天台上种了好几盆草莓。一颗颗红艳艳的草莓成熟时，妈妈总是会把那些最大最红的放在一个小盘子里给我。每吃一颗就会乐此不彼地笑，会开心上好一阵子。这是，母亲就会在旁边乐呵呵的`看着我。
而今，我已经在外读书。想念着母亲给我做的每一道菜，每一例汤，念着母亲的唠叨，挂着母亲的苦口婆心的良言。
随手拨通了故乡家中的电话，“喂”母亲在哪一边问道“孩子，天气要转凉注意多穿衣啊。”
我的心顿时酸了一下，母亲还如此惦记着我。“母亲大人生日快乐!”
“哎呦，孩子，谢谢，你健健康康平平安安就是我最大的快乐，知道么，呵呵呵呵”又听见母亲像以前那样乐呵呵地笑。心暖暖的。
大洋彼岸可谓远也，但心爱的人儿却牵连着心儿;同室同床可谓近也，但同床异梦者大有人在;天涯可谓远也，但王勃唱出：“海内存知己，天涯若比邻”的绝唱。
