鲁迅的文章曾写到过：燕子去了，有再来的时候；杨柳枯了，有再青的时候；桃花谢了，有再开的时候。世界上的生物都是如此循环，唯独时间不同，一旦逝去，就再也会不来了。有人曾问：浪费一分，一秒可以吗？这是很短的`时间，完全可以补上。但你想过吗？一分，一秒是很短，但你如果把一生所浪费的时间加起来呢？也许，你算都算不清。何况总共，就算算出来了，也会让你大吃一惊。因为那时的你早已是满头的鬓发了。
虽然时间如此珍贵，但有些人仍不珍惜。小时候贪玩浪费时间，却浑不知这会影响你一辈子。老了什么都没有学成，连最基本的收入都没有，那时才后悔莫及。比如我，因为早上想睡懒觉而不起床，结果起床的时间晚了，刷牙，洗脸也不细致，首先是清洁问题。然后把早饭了了一吃，也没有吃饱。紧接着就去上学，有可能错几分钟，一辆车过去了，从而等了很长时间，耽误了上学。上课时，因早饭没有吃饱而没有心思听课，学习效率下降。等晚上回到家，肯定是既疲劳又脏，影响了写作业。这样的恶性循环最终只会导致学习成绩下降。所以是一分，一秒也不能浪费。
古人云：少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲。俗语也有：一寸光阴一寸金，存金难买寸光阴。成语更是：光阴似箭，日月如梭。这么多长辈的警言都是说不能浪费时间的。甚至说浪费时间就是自掘坟墓。这么多教训还不够吗？让我们从现在做起，不让时间白白流过，不让自己虚度了光阴！
