It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. “你瞎眼了吗?”一位青年人说道。“你才瞎眼了，你干吗踩我?”“你真可笑，是你的脚自己伸到我脚下的，还要怪我踩你。”“你这种人不讲道理，真不讲礼貌。”“你才是蛮横无理，你才不讲礼貌了。”……
一番吵闹，两人你不让我，我不让你，各讲各有理，各说各有礼貌，可是他们真的懂礼貌吗?
这不过是件小事，如果踩到别人的这人道声“对不起!”，被踩的'一方便相应的回声“没关系!”短短的六个字就可以化解一场争执，甚至“战争”。可他们并没有这么做，必然会有争执。
大家不妨想想，懂礼貌的好处，能让我们大事化小，小事化解!我们希望和平呀!
“对不起，没关系。”短短几字就能让我懂得这么多，我不后悔晚点回家，不后悔在这炎热的路上多呆一会!

我脑海中立刻浮现出小时候院子里的小朋友用皮球砸我的情景，于是急忙过了马路，准备安慰女孩几句。此时，那个男孩却又不知从哪里冒了回来，本以为他意识到了自己的错误，是来道歉还东西的。谁料到，小男孩不但没有道歉的意思，还变本加厉地对小女孩发起了攻击：抢她的漫画书、喝她的果汁水，还抢走她的发夹。小女孩变得披头散发，只剩低头抹泪了。
正在这时，男孩的父亲从远处走来，看到这种情况，立刻揪着男孩的耳朵，让他给女孩道歉，男孩不敢违背父命，于是冲着女孩不情愿地说：“对不起!”男孩的父亲一边笨手笨脚地给小女孩梳头，一边命令男孩把女孩的东西还给她，不住地连声道歉。此刻的我无比愤怒，想那女孩一定会生气地指责他们。可出乎意料的是，女孩抬头看了看冒着汗的叔叔和脸红脖子粗的男孩，轻轻地说道：“没关系，他在和我玩儿呢。”眼前这一幕，我惊诧了。
是啊，世上还有什么比一句发自内心的“对不起”和一声简单宽容的“没关系”更可贵呢?小女孩的话，相信我会一直记得。
