Beijing is also China’s political and cultural center. There’re many old places of great interest, such as the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and Square. Once you see Square, you will think of Beijing. It has been the symbol of Beijing since 1949.

这个暑假，我和叔叔到北京旅游。我们参观了很多地方，比如天安门广场，故宫，颐和园和长城等等。在那之前我只是在电视上看见过它们，但是这个暑假我亲眼看到它们就在我的前面，我很兴奋。它们当中，我最喜欢的是颐和园，因为它是如此惊人而且风景美丽。除此之外，北京是个现代化的城市，那里有很多高楼。我很喜欢这座城市，我希望还能再次来这里参观。

今天是五月一日劳动节，我注视着窗外，呆呆地想：既然是劳动节就得劳动嘛，嗯，就大扫除吧！
主意打定，就来干活了！我洗好抹布，把书桌擦了一遍，不一会儿，我的额头渗出了细密的汗水，这时书桌发出了光彩，笑了。
说来怪不好意思，我是个十二岁的\'孩子，平时总是丢三落四，我的书桌乱七八糟。平时都是妈妈帮我打扫，今天我来显显身手。我先把书桌上的书摆在书架上，然后把其他东西放在书橱里面上，接着我用抹布把书桌擦干净，又把笔筒、卷笔刀等学习用品排列整齐。这时，洁净的书橱去仿佛在对着我，又笑了。
开始拖地了。地板的样子令我心痛不已，都怪我每次挪凳子时不注意，它才会伤痕累累。我小心翼翼地用拖把轻轻拂拭着它，时而用力大面积清扫地板。时而细致的打扫着。原本长满白癜风的‘脸’上多了一份光彩。接着，我又清洗了一下拖把，先来一个横扫千军，再来一个流星赶月！嘿，地板也看着我，也笑了！
房间在我的奋力拼搏下，终于干净明亮了。我虽然很累但很快乐。这就是劳动的魔力吧！我开心地笑了。
