There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

今天是五月一日劳动节，我注视着窗外，呆呆地想：既然是劳动节就得劳动嘛，嗯，就大扫除吧！
主意打定，就来干活了!我洗好抹布，把书桌擦了一遍，不一会儿，我的额头渗出了细密的汗水，这时书桌发出了光彩，笑了。
说来怪不好意思，我是个十二岁的孩子，平时总是丢三落四，我的书桌乱七八糟。平时都是妈妈帮我打扫，今天我来显显身手。我先把书桌上的书摆在书架上，然后把其他东西放在书橱里面上，接着我用抹布把书桌擦干净，又把笔筒、卷笔刀等学习用品排列整齐。这时，洁净的书橱去仿佛在对着我，又笑了。
开始拖地了。地板的样子令我心痛不已，都怪我每次挪凳子时不注意，它才会伤痕累累。我小心翼翼地用拖把轻轻拂拭着它，时而用力大面积清扫地板。时而细致的打扫着。原本长满白癜风的‘脸’上多了一份光彩。接着，我又清洗了一下拖把，先来一个横扫千军，再来一个流星赶月!嘿，地板也看着我,也笑了!
房间在我的奋力拼搏下，终于干净明亮了。我虽然很累但很快乐。这就是劳动的魔力吧!我开心地笑了。
