来京两年，还没去过长城，于是计划着周末去爬长城，当回好汉。选择了大众常去的八达岭长城，为此还被同事嘲笑为土人，说只有外地人才去八达岭，o(╯□╰o
地点选定后，首先要解决的当然是线路问题。咨询了两个同事去八达岭的路线，一个告知在德胜门坐919，一个告知在西三旗坐919。想想西三旗距离住的地方较近，就选择了后者。但是结果悲剧了。早上7:30出门，吃了个早饭，转车到了西三旗就已经8:30了。去了才发现，西三旗桥南到八达岭的都是慢车，有一路919，是到缆车口的，爬长城的话，要坐877。咨询工作人员得知，从西三旗坐877到八达岭要2个半小时左右。如果要坐快车，就得去德胜门，那边的877是快车，一站到长城，估计一个半小时的时间。既然已经到西三旗了，就准备坐慢车了。可是等了半个小时，也没有见到877的影子，时间已经是9点了。实在没耐心等了，就从西三旗转车到了德胜门。到德胜门的时间是9:30，到了才发现，排队等877的人不是一般的多，都已经排了近千米的长龙了。排队上了877已经是10:00，等售票员买完票，10:30才开始出发。大概12:00的样子，到了八达岭长城的入口。
接下来说说午饭的问题。由于到达八达岭的时间刚好是吃午饭的时间，想填饱了肚子，再爬长城。长城脚下的东西可不便宜，一个茶叶蛋2.5元，一个圆饼8元，跟抢钱差不多。由于没有自备午餐，只能任其宰割。
然后要说的是怎么爬的问题。在877快要到站的时候，车上的工作人员会稍微介绍下八达岭长城的情况，说877末班是17:00，在前山停车场上车。八达岭长城分为南段和北八楼,通常爬北八楼的人比较多,在八达岭登山口进门后右手是北八楼,左手是南段。门票45元。可以选择滑车套票——往返滑车加门票共100元。我没有乘滑车，选择的是北八楼方向。差不多从12:30的样子开始爬，到了北八楼时间大概是14:00，然后从熊乐园的方向往回返，到前山停车场的时间大约为15:00。这段长城有些地段非常陡峭，且路面较为光滑，所以最好不要穿拖鞋，尽量选择鞋底粗超，摩擦系数较大的鞋子。熊乐园里面的小熊还是很逗的，会直立站着跟游客要吃的，还有的比较懒，直接坐等游客喂食。尽管不是在节假日去的\'长城，只是一个普通的周末，但也还是人山人海，再次感慨下：中国人真多!

长城无边无际，一眼望不到头。无数烽火台屹立在长城之上，站在烽火台上，我仿佛听到了战鼓齐鸣，看到了烽火连天的硝烟战场……***曾在《沁园春。雪》中写到：“北国风光，千里冰封，万里雪飘。望长城内外，惟余莽莽……”我很期盼冬天能再来一游，领略一下银装素裹的长城。

我随着拥挤的人流登上长城。脚踏着被磨得光滑的城砖，手扶着凹凸不平的条石，我放眼四望，心旷神怡。长城像一条蜿蜒的巨龙卧在连绵起伏的崇山峻岭上。长城两侧一片翠绿，树木郁郁葱葱，早已不见了往日的苍凉和荒漠。长城上游人来来往往，川流不息，像是给长城穿上了一件迷人的彩衣。

长城位于北京城的西北方向，它全长一万三千多里，又称万里长城。它以历史悠久、气势雄伟壮丽为中外游客向往的“旅游胜地”。
万里长城东起山海关西到嘉峪关，全长一万三千多里。站在山脚下，仰望长城好像一位巨人横卧在高大的山体上。古老的城墙，都是用巨大的石板砌成的，大约一米多高，顶上呈“凹”字形，上面长满了厚厚的青苔。沿石级而上，道路狭窄而陡峭，游客们只有手扶两边的铁链一步步艰难地往上爬，怪不得人们称“爬长城”。大约二十分钟，才可以爬上一号烽火台。高大的烽火台宛如一座长方形的小城堡，防守严密。烽火台是古代打仗前传递信息的设施，在上面可以点火发送消息。
站在高高的烽火台上，远眺四周，蓝天下，白云间，长城像一条巨龙蜿蜒在崇山峻岭之上，一眼也望不到尽头。四周的小山像一个个蒙古包，相互簇拥着。漫山遍野，绿树成荫，如大海中起伏的波浪向远方延伸。
回首遥望，山脚下，停车场的小汽车如同一只只小甲壳虫，在列队阅兵。游客们像一只只小蚂蚁排着队伍向上爬。再往上走，石级越来越陡，路越来越难走，一路上每隔三到五公里就会有一座烽火台，一般人也就能爬到好汉坡，就再也爬不上去了。
