车子到了城下，再看，城楼更为高大，黑洞洞的城门口和两旁雄壮的两尊石狮让人不禁赞叹它们的雄伟与凛然不可侵犯的威严。向上仰视，映入眼帘的便是那檐下的巨幅横匾，上面是古代的书法家肖显挥毫泼墨书写的\'五个大字“天下第一关”，虽经过了千百年历史的磨洗，但还是那样地熠熠生光，书韵不减。
我们顺着城楼两侧的石阶上了城，在这几层楼高的城墙上，可以五马并驰，两侧曲曲弯弯，一直延伸到大山的背后。
