一路上，我牵着爸爸的手来到了医院，进了大厅之后，我很惬意地往椅子上一靠，等待着爸爸帮我去挂号。可就在这时，爸爸却对我说：“孩子，你已经长大了，好多事都应该独立完成了。”我原本以为爸爸会自己去挂号，可却让我自己去挂号，这让我感到十分惊讶。心中一想以前是衣来伸手，饭来张口，什么事情都是由父母帮我弄好，今天看来爸爸是要锻炼我了
挂完号后，爸爸让我看大厅内的导向图，看看我自己能不能找到眼科。于是，爸爸就故意跟在后面，，让我走在前面，目的就是让我独自一个人找到眼科，到了三楼，爸爸说：“眼科在哪儿？”这句话说明爸爸实际上已经找到眼科了，他就是想考验一下我到底找到眼科没有，但他太小看我了，实际上我已经找到眼科了。
来到了眼科之后，医生先向我了解情况，然后测了一下视力，再检查看看有没有刀毛，最后诊断有一点沙眼，不吃辛辣的食品就行了。
接着，爸爸让我去交费，看看一共多少钱？然后在去拿药。
最后，我来到了一楼，爸爸继续跟在我后面，我已经知道他的心思是什么？我很快找到了药房，然后将我手上的单子交给了医生，医生帮我拿过药之后对我说：“这个药要放在冰箱里。”我听了之后连忙点了点头。最后我拿了药回家了。

“因为真正的路，不是你走过的痕迹，而是你将要开拓的征程。”大海说。
“大海呀，你的暗礁在哪儿呢?”小船问。
“就在你触礁的地方。”大海说。
“难道你不可以在我触礁前，就预先告诉我暗礁所在吗?”小船问。
“世上没有预先的成功，也没有预先的失败，只有亲身经历过、实践过，才能总结出成功和失败的。”大海回答道。
“如果我被一个浪头打翻了，怎么办呢?”小船问。
“去准备迎接下一个浪头，在下一个浪头中，努力把自己扳转过来。”大海说。
“大海呀，岸在哪儿呢?”小船问。
“岸就在远方。”大海说。
“远方又在哪儿呢?”
“就在你不懈的追求中。”
