An electric bike is a bike with an added battery—powered electric motor. Some kinds are with pedals so that people can ride when necessary. The highest speed of it is 15 to 20 kilometres per hour.It is safe for people to ride it when they go to work, and the price is not very high. What’s more, they are friendly to the environment as they save energy and make low noise.
Also , there are manyproblems with them. For example, the batteries must be replacedafter having been used for 300 to 400 times. If they are not changed in time, they would cause pollution again.

今天下午，我和郭立去游泳，回来的时候，有些垃圾车停在路中间，堵得妈妈没办法骑电动车带我们过去。只能推着走，我从电动车上跳下来对妈妈说：“妈妈，我来帮你推吧。”我刚刚接住电动车，啊！太沉啦！我当时就怀疑妈妈是怎么骑的。这么沉。于是我就想弄个明白。我费了九牛二虎之力，终于将它推回小区院子里，推回院子后，我见妈妈还没赶上来，就座到上面，拧了一下电动车的把，啊！跑得好快啊！原来骑上去它的重量就减轻了许多。根本不像是刚刚那么笨重的“大铁块”了。随后妈妈赶了上来，看到我竟然把电动车给骑走了，吓得只喊着：“要左手不离闸，右手只轻轻地拧一下就行啦，如果你拧到头的话，会撞墙的啊！”
我照妈妈刚刚给我说的样子，左手不离闸，右手只轻轻的一拧，电动车果然“嗖”就跑出去啦。啊！好快啊！这电动车的速度要比自行车快上好几倍呢。我骑着电动车这儿跑跑，那儿跑跑，不一会儿我就把整个院子绕了好几圈。哇！我终于会骑电动车了，没想到学骑电动车这么容易。看来，只要胆大、心细，会骑自行车就会骑电动车。可是，妈妈说了：即使这样，我也只能在院子里转转，不能骑车上马路，因为第一：12岁以下儿童不让骑车上路。第二：外边的车太多啦，太危险了。
不过就算是这样，我也很高兴了，因为我终于学会了骑电动车。
