第二天，我就早早地起来了，希望下午快点来到。

就从今天起，我不再和爸爸那么陌生了，因为我知道爸爸也喜欢我，跟我非常亲切。我真想亲切地叫一声：“爸爸，您真好！”

回到家里，我仍像平常一样，把书包一扔，迫不及待地坐到电脑桌前，玩起了“三角洲部队”这个游戏，我玩的兴致勃勃，忘乎所以，直到妈妈三番五次地催我去吃饭，我才恋恋不舍地关上电脑。
吃过晚饭，草草地把数学作业写完，又看了一会儿电视，就睡觉了。什么语文测验，早就被我忘得一干二净了。
第二天，考试的时间终于到了。教室里，许多同学赶在开考前几分钟多翻几页书，还有的同学拿起“武器”准备过关斩将。教室里撕纸声、丢书声、削铅笔声一片遭杂。一会儿，陈老师板着一副严肃的`面孔走进了教室，教室里立刻鸦雀无声，同学们等待着考卷发下来。考试铃响了，同学们立刻紧张地答起题来。教室里静极了，只听见沙沙的写字声，偶尔也有轻轻的一两声咳嗽。
考场上，我急得满头大汗，怎么这么多题我都不会？原来那些很熟悉的生字我居然也记不起怎么写了，第一页勉强还能做，可是第二页就不行了，那一道道题全都变成了一只只“拦路虎”，挡在了我的面前，任我左思右想，绞尽脑汁也战胜不了它。我看了看四周，同学们都忙着写个不停，他们的脸上都是自信，还有个别同学已经答完了。我真有点后悔……眼看着考试时间就要完了，只好在卷子上胡乱涂抹一通，就交给了老师。
考试结束后，同学们都高谈阔论，兴高采烈，如小鸟出笼似的又唱又跳又笑，轻松愉快的难以形容。我却愁眉苦脸，闷闷不乐，唉！真是有人欢乐有人愁哇。
一个星期后，成绩下来了，老师公布成绩的时候，我的心紧张得“砰砰……”直跳，前十名没有我，前二十名也没有我，我被挤到了二十名以后，同学们哈哈大笑：“还考第一呢，倒数第一还差不多。”我的脸刷的一下子红了，在同学们的嘲笑声中我低下了头，惭愧得只想找个地缝钻下去。老师严肃地批评了我：“天才出于勤奋，你不勤奋，怎么能成为天才呢？”我的心像针扎了一样，难受极了，我趴在桌子上，强忍着不让自己哭出声来，可是，“金豆豆”还是一滴滴滚落下来。
是啊！骄傲自满使我受到了同学们善意的讥讽和老师严厉的批评，也使我懂得了“虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后”的真正含义。从那以后，每当我取得一点成绩，忍不住得意时，便会想起这次教训，它催我奋进，催我自励。
