寒假期间，我读了几本自己喜欢的书。当我读完《意林》里《榆树的伤疤》这篇文章时，感触很大。
文章讲的是有一棵榆树，树干上绑了一条铁链用来拴牛，后来，养牛的人把牛牵走了，但留下了这条铁链仍然绑在树上。随着时间的推移，树干越长越粗，树皮渐渐覆盖了铁链。不久，一场严重的灾难——荷兰榆树病传到了这里。这种病菌横扫这里的榆树，但惟有这棵带铁链的榆树没有受到伤害，原因是榆树从铁链里吸收了大量的铁，所以幸存下来!
这件事告诉我们：“创伤能使我们变得更加坚强!”
对于创伤，我们还要有足够的勇气面对，如果我们不能勇敢的承受，创伤还会使人一蹶不振的!
记得初一下学期的时候，我因为骄傲比自己的好朋友考得好，所以期末考试的时候，我的成绩一落千丈，排名比其中是退步了100多名，我一下子受到了打击，觉悟了。我开始上课认真听讲，下课认真复习，终于又回到了原来的状态，如果没有这次打击，如果我自暴自弃，又会怎样呢?
