今天，我们到大帽山一位叔叔家屋后的空地上烤地瓜。
我们先用锄头在空地上挖一个坑，再用土块围着坑边堆砌起一座小房子。堆房子可不是件简单的活，土块是不规则的，要堆起来不容易。堆了好久，这房子是越堆越高，可是收不拢，没办法，只好把上面的土块撤下来，再重新堆。妈妈说，当土块堆到一半高度的时候，土块就要慢慢向内倾向斜，这样才不会直直地往上堆。听了妈妈的话，我们轻轻地把土块靠里放，可不一会儿，房子塌了，原来是我们太急于求成了，收得太快。唉，只得再重来了。这回我们吸取了前面几次的教训，小心翼翼地把一块块土块堆积起来，快到顶的时候，我们都禀住呼吸，轻轻地放着每一块土，生怕自己的一个不小心，又要前功尽弃了。终于，大家都舒了一口气，房子堆好了，大功告成。
接下来，我们把点燃的柴火放进小土房里不停地烧，等土块被烧得红红的，滚烫滚烫的，再把地瓜放进小土房里，然后把小房子推倒，用锄头、砖块敲碎土块，最后在外面盖上一层厚厚的土。
一个小时后，我们用小铁锹把土挖开，慢慢地，一个个地瓜都冒了出来。一股香味扑鼻而来，把地瓜皮剥开，里面是金黄色的，吃起来又香又甜，味道棒极了！我想，以后如果还要烤地瓜，我一定还要参加。

它全身是黑色的，长的又胖又圆，还比较扁。一打开开关，它的眼睛就闪着红色的灯光，身上有许多开关，让我觉得十分新奇!
外婆用它烤了两块鸡蛋饼给我吃，我在很远就闻到了香气，我立马吃完了饼，连渣渣也不剩。我也想自己做一道美味出来。
我让妈妈帮我把土豆的.皮给撕掉，脱了皮的土豆表面十分光滑。随后，我小心翼翼的把土豆切成薄薄的小片，生怕切到手。
终于把土豆片切好了，我打开了烧烤机的开关，撒了两勺油在上面，过了一会儿，我又把土 豆 放了进去。油和土豆像是遇见好久不见的亲人似得，紧紧地贴在锅上叫起来；‘‘滋啦啦，滋啦啦，滋啦啦。这是，土豆旁边的油不停的冒上来，害我吓得跑到很远，生怕被烫到。
没过多久，土豆们一个个冒了烟，我连忙拿起筷子，把它们全部翻了个身，土豆的背上一个个变了个颜色，变得比以前更黄了。
再过了一会儿，土豆熟了，我迫不及待的尝了一口，香香的，翠翠的，味道十分美味。
在做的过程中，我知道了父母的辛苦。做菜这件事让我十分难忘。
