夏天的太阳火辣辣的当头晒，这时，我们都喜欢它那硬硬的叶片，挑一张大的树叶，采下来当小扇子。夏天，虽然热，但我们还是在玉兰树下玩游戏，这繁茂的树叶，常为我们遮风挡雨，带来凉爽。我么多么想把那洁白柔嫩的广玉兰花摘下来，揽入怀中，拥有它的芬芳。但是，那像婴儿笑脸的花朵隐藏在密密的树叶中，高高的屹立枝头，不容侵犯。
烈日中，许多树木因为太阳的暴晒，垂下了柔弱的叶片，显得无精打采，而广玉兰却不为所动，昂首挺胸，笑对蓝天，藐视骄阳。他总是给人坚韧，沉默不屈的形象。不争春，却吐露芬芳。
广玉兰花不仅美丽，它还有很大的用处，花含芳香油，可制成鲜花浸膏，玉兰业的制剂有降低血压的作用。
