小明是班上小有名气的小书虫，时时刻刻都想着看书。
每天早上，小明吃完饭，背起书包去上学，他乘上校车，一上车就拿起一本书目不转晴地看了起来。一位叔叔走来和蔼可亲地对小明说：“小朋友，在车上不能看书。”可小明左耳进，右耳出，刚把书放下，又拿起来看。
放学了，小明刚回到家，又捧起书津津有味地看了起来。吃饭了，香喷喷的饭菜已经端上了桌，小明像没看见似的，还在看。爸爸皱起眉头，“饭都冷了，怎么还不吃饭！”小明只好拿起筷子，边吃边看。
吃完饭，小明躺在床上，心里还想着书，就悄悄地看，看得如痴如醉，妈妈破口大骂，“在床上不能看书！知道了吗？”可小明不理妈妈，接着看。
日子一天天过去了，小明觉得一看书眼睛就难受，要凑近看才能看得清，黑板上的字都看不见，成绩越来越差。小明把这件事告诉了妈妈，妈妈吓坏了，赶紧带小明去医院检查，检查完了，医生说：“你近视了，要配眼镜。”
小明哭了，“我一定要改掉看书姿势不正确的坏毛病！”
眼睛是心灵的窗户，我们要保护视力！
