暑假里，我陪同故乡来的小伙伴一起游大明湖公园。虽然天气炎热，但是我们依然兴致勃勃。

我们走进南门，来到了大明湖扩建新区。首先映入眼帘的就是漂亮的大明湖。我们走到了大明湖边。岸边杨柳荫浓，鲜花锦簇。湖水真静啊！静的没有一点波浪，好像一面大镜子。湖水真绿啊！绿的就好像一块无瑕的翡翠闪烁着耀眼的光泽。湖水真清啊！清的与天空融为一体，湖底的鱼儿清晰可见。

湖里的鱼儿真多呀！看得我们的眼睛应接不暇。看清楚了这条，又错过了那条，看见了那条，另一条又游过来了。

湖面上大片的荷花开放了，有粉红的、有淡黄的、还有雪白的，朵朵娇艳欲滴、美不胜收。一只只蜻蜓轻轻地落在花瓣上，我不禁想起了杨万里的诗句：“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头”。湖水里鸢飞鱼跃，几只大白鹅欢快地游着，“呱呱”地叫着。这些美景好像一幅五颜六色的巨大画卷，真叫人流连往返。

大明湖的扩建新区里共有八大景观，包括：超然致远、鸟啼绿荫、七桥风月、秋柳含烟等，处处有亭台楼阁、水榭长廊，真是引人入胜。另外还有28座造型独特、各有不同的桥，更让人赞不绝口。

沿着湖岸，我们不知疲倦地走着，好像自己也融进了这如诗如画的美景之中，如荷花、如蜻蜓、如这清澈的湖水。

随着泉州城市的发展，西湖公园的建设逐渐完善，现在的它繁花锦簇，绿树成荫。你瞧，那一湖碧水，波光粼粼，和风吹拂。微波荡漾，泛舟而游如凡间仙境，令人流连忘返。鱼儿在水中游来游去，不时翻身腾跃，让西湖充满了蓬勃生机。

湖中的桃花岛上枝繁叶茂，栖居于岛山的白鹭，时而掠过碧绿的湖面，时而在蓝天盘旋，成为西湖一道亮丽的风景。三座具有民族特色的仿古桥梁，如玉带般横卧碧波之上；与桥相映成趣的是那座雄伟的刺桐阁，站在刺桐阁凭栏远眺，泉州的美景尽收眼底；再加上泉州

博物馆和著名的闽台缘博物馆就坐落于湖畔，给整个西湖平添了不少人文气息。

现在，西湖公园又建成了水景喷泉，它是目前我省最高的人造音乐喷泉，浑然一体的喷泉，如千军万马纵横驰骋，呈塔形、旗形、山形、扇形喷涌而出。激光水幕电影则是公园夜晚的一大景观，吸引了众多市民和游客慕名而来观赏。

泉州的西湖虽然没有杭州西湖的古老，但泉州人的敢拼会赢的精神，将会使西湖的景色越来越美……
