我从网上看到一条这样的信息：人们死于道路交通车祸的频率为1/5000，国外人类安全问题专家研究认为：世界上所有的死亡事故中，交通事故占37%。怪不得人们把交通事故称为“世界第一公害”。
想想日常生活，我们每天都要与公路、汽车见面，所以交通安全需要我们时刻注意。如果不遵守交通法规或存在侥幸心理，就容易造成交通安全事故。
5岁那年，我和爸爸走路去超市买东西。在横过马路时，我没有注意看车辆往来的情况，就跑向路的那一边。就在这时，一辆公共汽车飞驰而来，眼看就要撞到我了。在这千钧一发之际，爸爸果断地将我一把拉到路边，公共汽车好像擦着我的脸过去了。好险!后来，爸爸告诉我：“过马路不能跑，要看好两头，没有车辆再走。走的时候要先看左边，再看右边。”
这件事情已经过去很长时间了，但我还是忘不了它。有时，我禁不住想：汽车的出现，为人类社会的现代化做出了贡献，缩短了世界的距离。但是，汽车在承载着人们奔向幸福、美好未来的同时，又是一位极其凶狠的***手，飞速旋转的车辆碾碎了无数美好的生命、幸福的家庭。生命只有一次，安全重于泰山，请注意交通安全。
