之所以取这个名号，与老师上课提及的鲁迅先生的忧国忧民的思想有关。所以最近又重新拿起了鲁迅先生的小说，细细品味了一番。故事发生在一个秋天的后半夜，月亮下去了，太阳还没有出来。“华大妈在枕头底下掏了半天，掏出了一半洋钱。老栓接了，抖抖的装入衣袋，”他要去买“人血馒头”给自己的儿子小栓治病，天气虽冷，老栓到觉得爽快，仿佛变了少年，得了神通，跨步格外高迈，而当他从康大叔接过馒头之后，他的精神全在一个馒头上，仿佛抱着一个婴儿。
相信很多人看了，都会觉得很荒谬，这和古人求符泡茶治病有何区别呢?而华老栓却跟捡到宝一样，罔若不知。而更荒谬的是这个用血浸过的馒头凝聚着华家夫妇大半辈子的心血。相信，很多人会被这一幕感动。但是恰恰相反，我觉得可悲。假若华老栓有多个儿子，他还会不会倾其大半生的积蓄去为不可救药的儿子治病呢?答案是很肯定的，不会!不只有一个儿子，而有多个儿子，足以让华家传宗接代，那本就贫困不堪的老栓还会不会。因为他还有别的儿子，足以保华氏香火不灭，所以这爱变了“质”。试想老栓生活的年代，尽管当时的封建制度已经土土崩瓦解，但像老栓这一把年级的人，“思想蛀虫”已经深入骨髓了，他的脑子里充盈着的`是“不孝有三，无后为大”，华大妈也被“三从四德”压得喘不过气来。所以为了华氏的香火，为了到阴间给自己的父母一个交代，他们必须救自己的儿子，相信这种行为，与其说是父母对儿子的爱，不如说是对祖宗的孝吧!
而在另一边，一个资本主义者，夏瑜被处死了。而夏瑜的血，也就是这人血馒头的来源。但是，这个革命者的死并没有给老栓这些人的生活带来什么风浪。他才不管被砍头的人为何流血。如果这血救不了儿子，他便会觉得这没有什么价值。这就是以老栓这典型人物为代表的“民痞”的声音。
而夏瑜的死竟是如此无声无息，她的母亲为她上坟时，“忽然看见华大妈坐在地上看她，便有些踌躇，惨白的脸上，现出羞愧的颜色”。这又让我倒吸了两口冷气，这有什么羞愧的?难道她羞愧她的儿子闹革命吗?那革命反倒像一只乌鸦，“站在一株没有叶的树上”。这个社会好无知无觉，就算是革命者的母亲也只认为儿子被冤枉了，可是这就是当时的中国的人民，常用自己的血，去洗权力者的手。
这里的底层人民是麻木不仁的，只要与自己不相***，那么把***人也看作一种热闹，“颈项伸的很长，仿佛许多鸭子被无形的手抓住了，向上提着”。他们没有受过教育，愚昧无知，即便康大叔是个大恶人，但他告诉老栓什么时候***人，且人血馒头能治病时，老栓两口子真的是异常感激，就如今天俗话所说：别人把你卖了，你还替别人数钱呢!
而据当时背景了解，革命者夏瑜隐喻了革命烈士秋瑾，对“民痞”的奴性和麻木不仁让我们不禁思考，如果中国民族没有觉醒，那革命就永远无法成功，只有充分发动群众，共同斗争，才能取得革命的最后胜利。
