2008年10月14日下午，黑龙江省某县某村发生了一起车祸，儿子被撞成重伤，送往医院抢救。医药费不菲。父母挨家挨户跪下磕头借钱，村民们大力协助。儿子从死亡线上挣扎回来。医生说，可能成为植物人。父母拼命照顾，儿子终于可以站起来了，可以拄着拐杖走了。肇事司机赔了十万，医保赔了二万五。儿子起诉父母：十二万五没花完吧？！剩下的还给我！上法庭了……你信吗？
法庭上，儿子要求父母提供发票，一共只有九万多，所以儿子要求父母归还三万五。法庭上，母亲哭诉着，为了给儿子治病，他们卖掉了家里的房子、地，甚至养的十五只鸭子也卖了，一分也没了。儿子问，剩下的钱哪里去了？！母亲说，还当年结婚的彩礼了。儿子言辞凿凿，说什么彩礼是你们出的，不关我事。后来沉默许久的父亲终于爆发了，向儿子怒吼着，述说了自己怎样照顾儿子，父亲顿顿大白菜，就着葱、酱、咸菜和辣椒油坐在地上吃的，儿子顿顿饺子、大骨汤、炖小鸡，父亲伺候儿子几个月，摸摸炕热不热、凉不凉。“没办法，你是我儿子。你现在可行，今天把你父母告到法庭，爸爸感谢你，谢谢你了！就这些，多了不说了，你自己考虑吧，让全村老百姓看看，你想想，良心是什么？”父亲，实在人说实在话，他的这番实在话让律师们的辩论都黯然失色，让在场每一个人，包括法官在内都为之动容，什么是父母啊，就是你身边那个知冷知热、嘘寒问暖的人，就是那个把好吃的都留给孩子，自己宁肯吃馒头咸菜的人，他们的爱不需要说出来，却无处不在，当儿女的不该视而不见哪，不知道儿子听了他爸这番话，心里是啥滋味，我要是他，就根本没脸坐在原告席上了。最后儿子良心发现、自惭形秽，撤回了上诉。儿子跪下求双亲原谅，最后和母亲抱头痛哭起来，这才算有了圆满的结局。
看完电视，我的心久久不能平静，母亲十月怀胎之恩，父亲教养培育之德，还有撞车后细致入微的照顾，就被儿子一纸诉状所报答，当父母的能不心寒吗？连我都心寒哪！这等忘恩负义之辈，这只白眼狼，留有何用？！与自己的父母都能对簿公堂，谁知道以后他会做出什么伤天害理的.事。在这里，我要鄙视的对他说：“你了不起，法庭上，你是赢家，可在充满温情的社会中，你永远是败者！像你这种忘恩负义、不近人情、看重钱财的人，社会永远不需要你！”
看，社会上像儿子这种人，还不少呢！有的人，为了钱，跟父母大吵一架，拂袖而去，留下“空巢”老人；有的人，为了鸡毛蒜皮点儿事，与父母冷战几天，疏远父母。这些举动，让我们看到了，做儿女的，不体谅、理解父母的心，即使父母犯了再大的错，也抵不上他们的养育之恩哪！所以，我们应该更好地对待父母，不能让父母为我们过多的操心、操劳，要让他们好好度过一生。
命可救，心不可救。乞讨下跪可以拯救孩子的性命，拿什么拯救孩子那冷酷的心。
