冬日，火锅热气腾腾，氤氲了一层层乳白的雾气，咕噜咕噜地冒着泡。
隔了一道门，可嗅觉如馋猫的我还是闻到逸散过来的香味，闭上眼，耸耸鼻尖，“嗯，土鸡火锅，加香菇，还有……山药，看来奶奶没有忘记放香菜和蒜苗，果真比以前香，下一个指令是……奶奶要叫我们吃饭了。”睁开眼，果真听见奶奶在唤。于是，用眼眸对上弟弟一脸惊愕，邪肆地一笑，起身。
餐桌上，我就定定地看这锅里的鸡腿，生怕它们从我眼皮底下溜走，奶奶拿着汤匙走来，看到我的这副模样，不禁忍俊不禁，笑道：“放心，有你的份。”说着，便夹过一个香气扑鼻的鸡腿，我咂咂嘴，看着鸡腿落入碗里，可是作为吃货的'我，当然是吃着碗里望着锅里。还有一个鸡腿准备落入弟弟碗里时，他看出了我的小心思。“等等，奶奶，我不想吃，给姐姐吧！”我愣了下，听到这个消息，我却并没有喜形于色，反而有点内疚。
回想以前每一次，弟弟都将他的哪一个鸡腿分给我吃，可我呢，也只是厚颜无耻地欣喜收下，从来都没有说声谢谢，甚至，没有尽到姐姐的责任，我是一个多么自私的不称职的姐姐啊！
渐渐地，弥漫的雾气蒙住了我的眼，鼻子微酸，努力克制住自己的情绪，朝弟弟露出一个大大的微笑。“奶奶，我也不想吃鸡腿，还是留给弟弟吧！”把盛有两个鸡腿的碗推给弟弟，夹起一块普通的鸡肉开吃。自然，味道是不如鸡腿的。每次，我都是一味地指责弟弟为何吃不下饭，从来未关心过他。有一种苦涩的液体哽住了咽喉。
我并不是不爱他，只是，在满足自己和他人的天平中，毫不犹豫地偏向自己，只一味地索取他人来获得一时的饱足，却忽视了他人的感受。而弟弟呢，他虽小，但懂得感恩与分享，显然，他的情商更成熟，在同样的天平下，他却不言回报地选择了满足我的一己私欲。我对他的小爱远远抵不上他对我的大爱。
弟弟，以后我会慢慢补偿你，不仅补你一个鸡腿，还要补你姐姐迟到的爱。
