One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

首先，他们出门找了两根一样长的直木棍。他们把木棍带回家，用一根绳子把它们绑成十字形。然后他们又拿了些绳子，把木棍的四个顶端连在一起。然后，他们把一些颜色鲜艳的纸涂上胶水，粘在风筝的框架上。他们将纸做的尾巴粘在一角，在风筝中间系上一根长绳。
在接下来的一个有风的日子里，他们就在家附近的小山上放风筝了。

我们小组准备的东西很齐全，就等老师一声令下。我们个个都很兴奋，组长马薇忙着给我们分工：“那个，刘晓怡和彭紫柯负责切黄瓜，涂经纬负责剥皮蛋，杨云皓来切西红柿！”我妥协了这个方案，尽管我有些讨厌皮蛋。
老师一声令下，我们赶紧忙了起来。教室里每个人都忙得不可开交，好一幅热闹的场景。我把皮蛋放在桌子角上轻轻地敲了几下，然后用手搓一搓，皮蛋壳就自然脱落了。我把剥好壳的皮蛋放入早已准备好的盘子，切成一瓣瓣漂亮的花形，在盘子四周摆成一个漂亮的图案。摆盘完毕，应放调料了，我小心翼翼地在皮蛋上洒了几粒味精，浇了一点儿香油。我总感觉像差了什么调料似的。这时，肖老师走了过来说：“皮蛋上面放一点儿剁辣椒，这样看起来更美观，口感也会好些。”说着，肖老师就把剁辣椒给拿了过来，我说了声“谢谢”，然后舀了一些辣椒酱均匀地淋到皮蛋上，哇，加工过的皮蛋看起来五颜六色，很漂亮，让人垂涎三尺。
接着我开始做凉拌木耳。我往旁边一看，杨云皓一边切西红柿一边吃，时不时还把手伸到旁边“偷”吃黄瓜，呵呵，真是个十足的大馋猫！我没有理会他，我把木耳拿过来，倒到盘里，分别放了点盐和香油，然后开始搅拌，搅着搅着，木耳和香油的味道一齐迸发出来，通通地钻入我的鼻中，搞得我“口水直流三千尺”。我的凉拌木耳大功告成，我忍不住尝了一口，哇，真好吃！我还想吃……可是等会儿大家要一起品尝，不能现在就吃光了，我只好强忍着不吃。
我的作品虽然完成了，可小组里还有成员没有完成，组长马薇在切千张皮。只见她先小心地用小刀把千张皮切成一条一条的，然后装进碗里，我还以为完成了呢，可是她又拿出一些千张皮条，像剁肉泥似的把千张皮剁得细细的，碎碎的，然后再装入碗中，看得我莫名其妙，有这样切千张皮的吗？
我们把所有的菜都摆到了桌上。哇，有黄瓜、木耳、火腿……颜色鲜艳，设计精致，看着就想吃。评奖时，我们组派出了“凉拌黄瓜”应战，最终以鲜艳的色彩，优美的.造型获得了“最美造型奖”，我们很开心。
终于到了开吃的时间，我拿起筷子就向千张皮“扑”去，太好吃啦！我开始不停地狂吃，这时，我扯出一长串千张皮，为了这美味的千张皮，我只好抛弃美好形象，把头仰得高高的，张开嘴，用筷子把长长的千张皮送进嘴里，不幸的是，这个不雅吃相被正在摄相的肖老师当场“咔嚓”一声给拍了下来。
做凉拌菜好玩又有趣，我回去也要做一次给爸妈品尝品尝。

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?
