在金秋送爽的十月里，我们坐车来到了位于北京西四羊肉胡同的北京地质博物馆参观。
一下汽车，我们就看到了门前有一个栩栩如生的巨型恐龙塑像，我忍不住好奇地走上前去看。啊！这个塑像真大呀！光恐龙的脚面就有一个大胖子的肚皮那么大，两只强而有力的大腿就像两根大柱子，再看它的背，坐上去几十个人都不会觉得挤……看着看着，我陷入了无限的遐想，仿佛它载着我跑进了遥远的白垩纪。突然，我的耳畔传来了我的朋友林明的声音：“李一骄，别看了，快进去吧！”这时我才缓过神来，依依不舍地走进博物馆。
刚走进门，又有一个庞然大物映入我们的眼帘。啊！我仔细一看，原来是我们生存的地球。讲解员阿姨说：“这里就是地球厅了，它介绍了地球板块运动、地震、火山喷发等自然现象的形成原因。”她又指着一块褶皱的石头跟我们说：“这块石头经过了地球板块运动的挤压，所以满身褶皱。地壳发生变化，两岸的陆地就发生挤压，这样就形成了高山……”我不等听完了她的讲解，就跑到旁边的一个仿地震的仪器旁边，它里面有几块积木，用积木可以搭建楼房，再用上面的按钮调节震级，看你所建造的楼房可以抗几级地震。我跑去拉来了几位同学，一起玩了起来。我们先打好了地基，然后又一层一层的往上盖，一共搭了二十多层，才把顶部封上。这时，赵云飞迫不及待的就按动了按钮，调到了九级地震，瞬间，积木下的塑料板剧烈的左右晃动起来，我们搭建的楼房顿时就塌了一半。我赶紧把震级调整到五级，塑料板晃动的频率才稍有减缓，可是大约半分钟，我们的楼房还是被“地震”夷为平地了。我们意犹未尽饿又走到了仿地震后的屋子里面，看到的是地震后，屋内一片狼藉的场面。屋里的摆设全部都掉落在地上，连墙壁都被震裂了。讲解员阿姨这时又走过来问我们说：“同学们，阿姨问你们一个问题，如果地震的话，你们会藏在屋里的什么地方呢？”有的同学说：“应该藏在墙角。”有的说：“应该藏在桌子下面。”这时讲解员阿姨更正道：“藏在桌子下面是不对的，因为如果房屋倒塌，桌子很有可能被塌落的房顶砸到，这样的话，就会对躲在下面的人造成伤害。”“阿姨说的真有道理啊！”我们感叹道。
接着我们又来到了二层，这里是矿物岩石厅。各种千奇百怪的矿石，让我眼花缭乱，心想：自然的力量真是太神奇了！
我们又来到了宝石厅。宝石厅的正中央有一个特殊的展柜，里面摆放了一块表面粗糙，宛如人脑般大小的狗头金。看完展柜旁的说明牌，我们才知道，狗头金是一种含金量极高的金矿石，其含金量占总重的94%。“哇！这几乎就是纯金了，一定非常珍贵吧！”我们一路感叹着，又参观了其它的宝石水晶。
这次参观使我明白了很多的知识，神奇的矿物，琳琅满目的宝石，都深深的印在我的脑海中，我想：大自然真是神奇啊，可是现在人们对自然的过度开采，使许多矿藏的储量都急剧下降。例如：翡翠是迄今为止只在缅甸一个地方能够挖掘到的不可再生的稀有矿藏，由于近年翡翠市场火爆，加上机器开采代替人工，开采量成倍增加，有人说探明的储量只够几十年采了，因此，我在此呼吁人们：“保护地球，珍惜矿物资源！减少对地球的破坏，可以使地震等自然灾害进行缓解。”
参观完所有展厅后，我们恋恋不舍的走出展馆。我跟大恐龙摆手说：“再见，我还会再来看你的！”接着我们上了车。望着远去的地质博物馆，我又陷入了无限的遐想……
