However, as a diligent girl without any solid background in Computer Science before college, she adapted quickly to the especially competitive environment in our department. Hence, I believe, goal-oriented, not afraid of inchoateness and with persistence, she has the quality to make achievements.
What distinguished her among her classmates, I think, was that she went far beyond acquiring excellent scores in the exams and instead got her range of knowledge enlarged. In spring, 2006, Miss Pan took the course I taught named Algebraic Structures and Combinatorial Mathematics. This inquisitive and assiduous young woman was sometimes the last to leave after my class, raising novel questions related to the subject. I found that she understood the knowledge in depth and detail. Furthermore, I still remember during the spring vocation in May, due to the break-down of my mail box, I missed her mails to discussing some questions. But the following week during the course time, she asked me directly. Her zeal for knowledge and the spirit to explore answers really leave me a deep impression. Finally, she was among the few students who got almost full marks in every test in class which showed her exceeding grasp of every chapter. Thus, I gave her 98/100 for the excellent performance in my course.

于是，我每天都盼啊，盼啊，就盼着中秋节假期快点到来。还有一个特别的原因就是因为我们厦门过中秋，还有个超级好玩的娱乐活动，那就是博饼。看谁手气好，能博到状元哟。当然啦，我内心是非常想博到状元的。总感觉那会特别的幸运。
终于到了中秋节假期了，活动安排在了9月26日，周六举行。我兴奋得一夜也睡不着，最后还是妈妈叫我赶快睡，要不然明天就起不来了。后来，我数羊，数着数着，脑袋里又会想着明天石泉山庄会有什么好玩的呢？最后总算是迷迷糊糊地睡着了。
9月26日，一大早我就起床了。为了防止被山上蚊虫叮咬，妈妈特意让我穿了长裤，尽管我开始不愿意穿，感觉有些热。但是后来，证明了妈妈是明智的，山上还真有小虫子咬我。看来以后还是要多听大人的建议了，这样就可以少吃很多亏。
我洗漱完毕，就开始吃早餐。今天早餐特简单，牛奶配月饼。可是等我把早餐都吃完了。爸爸妈妈还在收拾打扮。等女生可不是一件容易的事情啊。妈妈就是这个超级难等的女生。不过，妈妈在我心里永远都是最美的女生。今天，妈妈穿了一件黑色的七分袖T恤，配着一条绿色的纱质长裙，看起来就像仙女一样。我和爸爸都穿了灰色的T恤和牛仔长裤。在我不停地催促之下，终于可以出门了。
首先，我们开车到嵩屿农行那里接我的同班同学。他们家也是三个人，不过是一个姐姐，还有他和他妈妈三个人，他爸爸没有去。就这样我们接上他们后，朝目的地——海沧石泉山庄出发啦。
爸爸说很快，只要十几分钟就可以到达。可是，因为最近在修路，好几个原来可以掉头的地方，现在都封死了。爸爸只好重新绕了一大圈，才找到了上石泉山庄的路。在我们车子的前面，是我们班其他同学的车子，一大排车子排着队在弯曲的山间公路上盘旋而上，我和同学在车上说呀，笑呀，很开心。
终于我们到了石泉山庄，大人们在山庄服务员的指挥下，按顺序停车，而我和同学们都先下了车，跑进了山庄的大门。这时候，我们班这次参加活动的三十几个同学基本都已经到达了。
山里的空气可真好呀，妈妈说像个天然氧吧。一进到山庄里面，就能看到一个不大也不小的池塘。池塘里有好多好多的鱼儿，池塘上还搭着木板桥，走在上面特别好玩。你知道，桥头有什么吗？我想你一定猜不到，因为桥头一个大大的笼子里，有一只好大的孔雀。不过，这孔雀可一点也漂亮。跟我在电视里看到的孔雀完全没得比。这孔雀的毛已经掉得稀稀疏疏地了。但是第一次亲眼看到它，我还是觉得兴奋的`。
池塘边上还停靠了一膄小木船，我拿起岸边的桨，拨动水面，船竟然就随着水的波动慢慢地像湖面飘去了。同学们都觉得好玩，纷纷跑过来看。有的同学还接过我手中的桨，继续用力地拨动水面。妈妈还是其他同学的爸爸妈妈都一个劲儿地大声叫我们，要小心，不要玩水。哈哈，可是我们就是觉得这个很好玩呀。
胆子大的同学，还爬到山上地一处养狗基地，哪些够都大大的，看起来就好凶猛的。狗一下看到这么多小孩，像受了刺激一样，不停地狂叫着。然后就有叔叔们上去，把同学们赶了下来。不知道为什么，我突然也想去看看大狗。同学们朝山下走，我还一个人朝山上走去，妈妈就跟在后面喊，说很危险，快下来。其实我也害怕的，平常我就最怕狗了。于是我的逞英雄之旅就这样半路夭折了。我也赶紧下了山。
后来，我又和同学们一起去看了山上的寺庙，还爬了其他的山。最后，全身都是汗了。而且山上真的蛮多小虫子的，我被咬了好几口。爸爸就让我坐在湖边看书，看鱼，吃东西，休息。这一休息，我就压根不想在动了。
我坐在湖边，湖对面，刚好可以看到妈妈和其他很多阿姨叔叔们在忙着做午餐，今天的午餐是包饺子，还是番鸭汤，还是很多卤菜。而且都是妈妈和同学们的爸爸妈妈一起动手做的。妈妈站在湖边包饺子，她不是回头看我，我就对着妈妈笑。
很快，我们就吃午饭了。这么多人一起吃饭，可真热闹呀！总共可是有90个人哟。我可是第一次和这么多人一起吃饭。总共有四大桌，我们小孩先吃，我们吃的时候，叔叔阿姨们都还在包饺子，煮饺子。
我们每个同学都吃得超级开心，我总共吃了7个饺子，还喝了鸭汤，还有鸡腿。等我们吃完后，叔叔阿姨爸爸妈妈们才开始吃。我们小朋友就在一边玩耍。
吃完午饭，等山庄的服务员收拾完桌子，我们今天活动的最重要的环节就开始啦——博饼。这次博饼总共分了四组，每组12个人。只有我们小朋友们博，爸爸妈妈们都看着我们博。
大人们还在整理奖品的时候，我就已经跃跃欲试了。终于开始了。我第一把就博了一个三红，得了一副球拍。再然后，一连四五圈，我什么都没有。可眼看着其他同学都得了好多的奖品。我有些难过了。妈妈在旁边安慰我说，别着急，也别气馁。这只是一个游戏，我们只要坚持参加完游戏，不管有没有得到奖品，都不重要的。
听了妈妈的话，我调整了心态。后来，就博得很轻松了。一连博了几个一秀。最后，令人心惊的环节来了。只剩下一个状元了。我们都提心吊胆的，因为大家都想当状元。最后一连博了好几圈，大家都没有博出状元来。大人们看我们也博累了。就说，干脆比点数大小吧。就这样，最后状元花落陈叶茜之手了。说实话，我的心情有些失落。不过，我很快就调整好了自己的情绪。因为我记得妈妈跟我讲过，做任何事情只要努力了，就不会有遗憾了。尽管我没有拿到状元，但是我是很认真参加游戏的。何况，通过这次山庄一日游，我还学习到很多课本上没有的知识。
我爱这次中秋石泉山庄一日游活动。
