我的度假古城英文作文【一】
小学的最后一个暑假，没有作业。我妈带我去了山西。
天气太热了，其实我的内心是拒绝的。但是在“人说山西好风光”的怂恿下，心甘情不愿的走了遭山西。到那里才发现，山西应该和云南一样，称为我的第二故乡的。“精神之故乡”。
我去的是大同。那儿有的不是美景，不是美食，而是钱。大堆大堆的煤老板是出自大同的。但是到那里我却并不感觉陌生，因为风土人情是与莲城差不多了的。人来人往，熙熙攘攘。但是不同的却是有的。那里的天空很蓝，可以用“湛蓝”来形容，为什么呢？别的地方天空是微微带些灰色的。大同的不一样，蓝的纯洁，蓝的干净。给人一种清新之感。
二来是文物。我认为，身为中国人，中国必去的俩地，一个西安，另一个就是大同。为什么呢？很简单，地上文物看大同，地下文物看西安。所以我就啥也不管的`奔向了云冈石窟。看佛家东西是必须要有一种仪式感，通俗来说，就是要用佛系的眼光，佛系的视角，佛系的经历去看。那样人才能够感受到大千世界的神奇与壮丽。
第三是它的历史背景。人们都只被太原的光辉照耀眼睛，却从来不被大同那微弱的光芒引起注意。大同其实是一个很神奇的城市。它此生都活在太原阴影之下，但却活出了人生的精彩。我之所以这么说，其实是有依据的。不妨去看看，古时君王若不定都西安，也是会越过太原来选择大同的。听名字，大同，大千世界百杂碎，同于其中千社稷。导游也是讲过，经济的发达自宋朝开始便依赖于此。每年朝廷要从此提多少人才，多少妃子提取出来，所以为什么我说它很神奇了。
既然我来了大同，就不妨往平遥古城走走。看看那被数千年风沙都掩盖不住的王者古城的气势。古城里有着大同乃至山西独有的味儿：醋味。往街角拐角走去，总是有那么一两家店子里酿制着几大缸醋。那刺鼻的味提醒着人们敬而远之。当然，我来的是山西，不去吃一碗正宗无比的面怎么能行呢？
湘潭的面馆大多是坐在椅子上，看着那煮面师傅熟练的拿起筷子放到沸水里，舀来舀去间，面便熟了。然后经碗来到桌子上。接着顾客开始吃。一切是那么俗不可耐而又顺理成章。大同人不喜欢这样，他们把煮面当做一种艺术。摆在后院，用一大锅浓汤，从清晨开始煮，香气飘遍每个角落，一场表演过后，一碗倾注心血的面便出场了。这便是大同的美食境界。
最后就是大同的美景。
最让我记忆深刻的，就是每天早上醒来，那迎接我的第一缕寒风。这是大同的标准叫醒方法。那时我就会知道，该起床了。大同的早上有如仙境一般。你站在台阶上，伸个懒腰，便会发现，太阳拖着还耷拉着的眼皮，向你道早安。风轻悄悄的，拂过你的面庞，天空还只是微微的蓝色，那时，整个大同都还在睡梦中，所以请轻轻地，轻轻地，不然可能会影响到他们的睡眠。随着第一声鸡鸣，天空破晓，整个大同就此从梦中醒来。

In my life, I am proud of having a happy family. I have a kind father, strict mother and a naught little brother. As most other families, there are laughs and tears at my home. My father is friendly to others. Our neighbors speak highly of him. Mother is strict to me and my little brother.
She has high expectation to us, wanting us to have bright future. My little brother is a primary school student, but he doesn’t work very hard. All he wants is playing with his friends. It worries my parents a lot. But in general, we have more laughs than tears. I love my lovely family.

I have a lovely bedroom. It is small but clean and beautiful. The wall is light green and the floor is white. There is a bed in my bedroom, it is really comfortable. I sleep with it every night.
