五一节放假，我们全家一起自驾去芜湖方特欢乐世界游玩。汽车在行驶，一条条宽阔漂亮的现代化交通干道呈现在我们脚下，各种车辆来来往往，每到一处收费站都要等上好一会才能通过。这个时候，外婆就会说：“现在真是方便啊，以前我们能去趟南京城就已经很不错了，那时交通还真的很不方便，哪像现在这样，还自驾旅游，交钱都要排队呢！真是时代不一样喽！”
到了方特乐园，各种高科技、现代化的游乐项目目不暇接，如水世界、儿童乐园、太空探险……最有趣的是我们全家坐上“飞船”，戴上立体眼镜进入“恐龙世界”，那种身临其境的惊险刺激让我们又开心又难忘。
傍晚，爸爸开车带我们在芜湖市区兜风。外婆少年时曾经在这儿住过，可是沿途的城市新景象却让外婆惊叹不已，高楼林立，车水马龙，环境优美，一派繁荣景象。外婆直说：“真是认不出来了！变化太大了！”到了吃晚饭的时间，我们在步行街上找了好久才好不容易找到了一家餐馆有空位。
回家的路上，我们全家人感慨特多，爸爸妈妈都对我说，我现在生活得时代比他么小时候好的多多了，要我一定要珍惜今天的美好生活，好好学习，快乐生活！
