最敬佩的袁隆平英语作文【一】
袁隆平爷爷是中国杂交水稻育种专家，中国研究与发展杂交水稻的开创者，被誉为“杂交水稻之父”。
袁隆平爷爷说过这样一句话：“70岁的年龄，50岁的身体，30岁的心态，20岁的肌肉弹性！”他80多岁每天还坚持打排球游泳，现在年轻已经90岁了，已经游不动了，打不动了。但他还是在学习，他在办公室里全都是书，书桌上堆满了书，书柜里塞着满满的书。老师说有句俗话叫：学到老，活到老！90多岁了还在学习，我们现在在是小学生，更应该学习！
有一天，一位记者来采访袁隆平爷爷，记者问他：为什么要研发这个杂交水稻呢？袁隆平爷爷说，因为几十年前人们吃了上顿就没有了下顿，甚至出现了人吃人现象，希望长大了以后想不要再出现这种状况，就想要研发这个杂交水稻。经过长期研究，他最终完成了这个愿望。袁隆平有两个愿望，第一个是在水稻下乘凉，第二个是“杂交水稻覆盖全球梦”，这两个愿望都实现了！袁隆平一个人解决了半数中国人的粮食问题，他非常的伟大！袁老最看不得人浪费粮食，他曾在2013年接受采访时说，“我们辛辛苦苦钻研提高水稻产量，每亩提高5斤或10斤都很难，提高之后，又浪费了。浪费不但可耻更是犯罪……”多年过去，浪费粮食现象依然存在！希望人们不要浪费水稻，现在我们有饭吃了，却变得不懂珍惜。
所以我们应该要学习袁隆平爷爷这种淡泊名利、艰苦奋斗、坚持不懈、一心为人民的精神！老师说我们以后要光盘行动用这种方式来纪念袁隆平爷爷！

The people I respect the most is my father. He is a doctor. He always busy with work. Since I can remember, he never spent a whole weekend to stay with me. He goes to the hospital very early before I get up, and comes back home after I sleep. But I doesn’t matter at all, he is hero to me. He devotes almost all the time to his patients, many lives are saved.
He always said, a man should have dignity, integrity, honor, and most of all, be helpful to others. This affected me deeply, so I work hard so that someday I could be the man like my father.

A person I admire most, he is my father. My father is not only to work during the day, but goes to school at night, when you at eight o clock at night every day, he left home to study, he is very cherish the now reading conditions, attitude is very good, I admire my father very much. My dad thinks his knowledge is not enough, and to lower than others, dont have the heart to be illiterate, so will go to the worker big night school. Dad is very careful in reading.
