在开学后，我转到了这里，看着开心农场的稻子慢慢成熟，我想到了您的"超优千号"。它是不是也成熟了呢?在我们种植、育苗的时候，它也在生长吧。不过相比于经验丰富的农民伯伯，我和同伴们实在是业余：水量不知道，移苗的间距不知道，就连水也用的地下水……还好有家长们帮忙，老师自己也查资料，时不时的组织我们照顾水稻。现在，稻田里不仅有水管，而且还搭上了白霎霎的"天″。今天是我们班收获的日子。我想到了观察水稻的日子，在那些日子里，我见证了只有小腿高的稻子如何抽穗、开花、结出一粒粒的稻谷，也留下了许多的美好回忆。
您知道吗?在观察水稻时，我时常想起你，想起您那两个看似遥不可及的梦想。你那为梦想而奋斗的总让我钦佩不已，尤其是您在南红良种繁育场时，当助手发现了"野败"一一株天然的雄性不育株野生稻，并发来电报时，您正在遥远的北京开会，却连夜赶火车奔回海南岛，仔细检验它的真伪。那需要多少精力呀，在北京开会已经有些累了，连夜赶火车，仔细检查会雪上加霜。而您却为了梦想赌上健康，让自己无怨无悔。又为了改进杂交水稻，一直奋斗了22年，将自己最好的年纪献给了研究。这还不够，你把安逸的老年都献了出去，90岁高龄，您的办公桌上依然资料成堆，别人在享受，你却在努力。您是"活到老，学到老"的典范。
青岛，一个美丽的城市。它拥有约50万亩的盐碱地，对海水稻的研究可谓是如虎添翼，这里不缺少人才，也不缺少杂交水稻接班人，研究者可能会变，但是一代一代接力，总会完成您的梦想。在一万人中，总会有伟人出现，创新、探究。您的三个月，影响着青岛，影响着全球，影响着一代又一代的年轻人迈步向前。
