晴朗的早晨，公鸡走出竹笼，新鲜空气扑面而来。他活动了一下四肢，跳到河边的柴堆上。迎着升起的朝阳，放开喉咙。“喔喔喔——” 地唱起歌来。
公鸡的歌声激昂洪亮，嗓音高，把树上画眉的歌声掩盖住了。画眉不唱了，看着公鸡干瞪眼。
公鸡扑着翅膀快乐地歌唱。突然，脚下的柴堆摇晃了一下就倒塌了。公鸡掉到河里，他用翅膀拍打着水面，大声呼救：“救命呀!救命呀!”
树上的画眉见了，说：“活该!活该!你高声唱得发了疯，让河水淹死你。”
河里游泳的鸭听见了公鸡的呼救声，耸耸肩膀说：“你不会游泳，干吗还要下河?快划水上岸吧。” 说完，钻到水底觅食去了。
狐狸听到公鸡声嘶力竭的呼救声，从灌木林里跑到河边上，悄悄地隐藏在草丛中，贪婪地等待着公鸡爬上岸。
公鸡身上的羽毛湿透，沉重的身体在水中往下沉，呼救声越来越小。正在这时，一头小象来到河边的老槐树下饮水，发现水里挣扎的公鸡。急忙奔入河中，伸出长鼻子，把奄奄一息的公鸡救上岸。
小象用扇动大耳朵刮起的风，帮助公鸡吹干身上的毛。还安慰着说：“别惊慌，一会儿，羽毛干了就好了。你今后要注意安全，河边要特别注意留神。”
狐狸看见公鸡被小象救起，知道美餐吃不到了。就悄悄地溜进灌木林里。
画眉和鸭子看见了说：“小象哥哥，你是见义勇为的英雄啊!”
河边的老槐树开口了，说：“公鸡落水后，画眉有妒忌心，公鸡的歌声超过了他，他为发泄私愤就幸灾乐祸。鸭子袖手旁观，只会说风凉话，见死不救。狐狸阴险狡猾，乘人之危，想占便宜。只有小象最无私，勇敢地救了公鸡。”

景区的山谷里有许多大岩石。到了一片岩石边时，我和文瑾交换了一下目光，便一同跳上了一块大岩石。我往下看了看，发现岩石都是凸出在水面上的。水不深，但是如果滑下去，我想也不好受。我眨眨眼，停顿了一下，还是跟在文瑾后面，在岩石上像小羚羊一样跳来爬去。
可是，羚羊也有跌跤的时候啊！突然我脚下一滑，一眨眼功夫，我的腿就和溪水拥抱了！裤子、鞋子和袜子全都泡汤啦！文瑾一半惊讶、一半想笑地把我给拉了上来。不一会儿，气急败坏的老爸赶忙用妈妈的.大丝巾给我围了一条“裙子”。哎，也只好将就一下了！
大约两个小时后，太阳终于把我铺在大岩石上的裤子晒干了。我赶紧换上裤子，穿上文瑾备用的球鞋，和其他人一起向山顶行进。
后面，我就没出过什么落水之类的大事啦。不过，偷偷告诉你吧。在去太湖源的路上，我们在一条小溪里玩水。我因为没带凉鞋，穿了文瑾的拖鞋。结果，拖鞋没穿紧，被湍急的水流一下就冲到好远的地方。幸亏文瑾妈妈眼疾手快，一下就把它抓住了。
这次旅行真是“囧事连篇”啊！
