一个初夏的清晨，我们踏上了去贾汪的旅途。早上的天空异常阴霾，贾汪的城门在这样的背景下显得更有历史的厚重感。城门是完全对称的构造，左右是两谭深色的水，不时有金鱼在游动，中间是通道。灰色的城墙的正中央，用唐代隶书写着“春秋贾汪遗址”六个大字。
初进城门，是古代石板的路面，和各种古代的建筑，仿佛时光退回到很久很久以前，那个充满诗情画意的年代。路过的地方不时成列着各种出土的文物，从它们已经模糊的轮廓中，能想象出当年的样子，仿佛能看到那个时代的风貌。明清看北京，隋唐看西安，春秋看贾汪，这句话一点不假。
稍向里去便可以看到三块牌坊，来自不同的年代，有着各自非同寻常的故事。据我们推断，其中一块是乾隆皇帝表彰功臣的，还有一块是贞洁牌坊，至于第三块的来历，不得而知。在那附近是宽阔的河面，上方有一座拱形的桥骄傲地立着，一条完美的弧线划过天空，略带些女子般的温柔与羞涩，瞬时融化了游人的心情。那是鉴桥。
我们久久地坐在湖边的台阶上，不忍离去。这条流淌了三千多年的河，今天依旧还是这样静静流淌着，没有声息，没有咆哮，没有激动，甚至没有诉说，就像什么也没有经历一样。好像历史就在不经意之间流走，什么也没有值得留恋的，什么也不需要记录。而那沉入河底的泥床，也许更是那样无声无息。历史的沉淀就是这样，一层一层覆盖，一层一层又被河水冲走。只有河水永远是透彻的，永远地澄清着。
越往里走，便越能感受到自然的气息。没有古式建筑，没有历史遗迹，有的是路边的野草，年复一年地一枯一荣。田园诗的氛围，农家朴素的情致，在这时渐渐包围了我们。路上人迹罕至，一切的一切都是如此的幽静。不过有路，有流水，有岸边的草木，也许就足够。在这里，曾经有什么人路过，曾经发生过多少事，已经不再重要。历史如此澄澈，与我们相对默默无语。
