每当我看见藏在抽屉里的那只精致的小木船，我就想起陈明来。上小学一年级的时候，陈明和我是同班同学。我们两家离得很近。每天我们一块儿上学、回家，一块儿温习功课。我们成了离不开的好朋友，一直到四年级。
有一天，发生了一件不愉快的事。我们俩温习完功课，把自己在舰模小组做的小木船拿出来玩。我见他那只做得很精致，就拿在手上，翻过来掉过去地看，总舍不得放下。不料我一失手，“啪”的一声，小木船掉在地上，摔坏了。他一看，急了，哭着要我赔。我分辩说：“我不是故意的。”他生气地说：“谁叫你不小心，非赔不可!”还用力推了我一下。我往后一退，正好一脚踩在小木船上，把它踩碎了。这一下，陈明更生气了。他拿起我的小木船，使劲摔在地上，用脚踩得粉碎，一把抓起书包，转过身，头也不回就走了。看着被他踩坏的小木船，我也气得说不出话来。我们的友谊从此破裂了。
转眼几个月过去了。有一天放学回家，我走在前面，他走在后面。我偷偷地回头看了他一眼，他右手插进兜里，裤兜胀得鼓鼓的，不知攥着什么。忽然，他几步追上了我，从裤兜里掏出一只精致的小木船来。我惊讶地望着他。他满脸通红，激动地说：“那次是我不好，不该踩坏你的船。明天我家就要搬走了，我做了这只船送给你，留个纪念吧!”说着，他把小木船塞在我手里。想想那天发生的事，本来是我的错。我望着他那双热情的眼睛，一句话也说不出来，只是紧紧地握住了他的手。
陈明跟着爸爸妈妈搬到外地去了。那天以后,我们俩再也没有见过面。我把他送给我的小木船藏在抽屉里。一看见这只精致的小木船，我就好像看见陈明站在我的面前。

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

我和陈明是好朋友。一天，我们把在手工小组做的小木船拿出来玩，陈明一不小心把我的摔坏了。争执中，陈明又把它踩坏了，我非常生气，一把夺过他的小木船。陈明的小木船在我手中晃来晃去，他看着有些急了，作势要过来抢，我见状立马一闪，他没能得逞，可小木船却从我手中一滑，掉到地上摔了个粉碎。陈明的表情此时变得十分复杂：先是眉毛拧成了团，怒目圆睁，心中像有一团怒火在熊熊燃烧。等到眉毛稍稍松弛时，嘴巴又歪向一边，显得有些难过。看到陈明这个样子，我有些羞愧，可是转念一想，是他先把我的小木船摔碎的呀!想到这里，我赶快将地上的碎片收拾好，背上书包走了。
回到家后，我看着面前还带着陈明脚印的木船碎片，不禁有些后悔。以往在手工小组的作业都是我和陈明共同完成，这次也不例外，小木船的细节复杂，陈明的手比我更巧，我不会的地方都是他帮助我完成的，我们花了两个多小时才做成的小木船，竟因一时冲动，被我摔了个粉碎，手工小组明天就要上课了交不上作业可怎么办呢?
第二天放学后，我忐忑不安的走向手工小组的教室，脑海中全是手工小组的老师训斥我的样子，这时，陈明那艘精致的小木船的样子也出现在我眼前，陈明一直是手工小组老师的得意门生，我会不会害他交不上作业，令老师失望呢?陈明一整天都没有主动来找我，会不会是生我的气了呢?这样想着，我不知不觉的就走到了手工小组的教室，看见教室里的老师和同学，我这才发觉自己迟到了，被老师批评了几句后，我走到了自己的座位上，刚发下来的小木船旁边，赫然摆着一只小木船——仔细看这只小木船的拼接方法，显然是出自陈明之手，但这只比他之前做的那只更精致。我转过身，望向座位后的陈明，看到了他会心的一笑，悬着的心终于放了下来。
手工课后，老师开始检查作业，我因为陈明的帮助顺利的交上了作业，还得到了老师的表扬，而陈明却因为没有作业受到了批评，我分明看到了老师脸上的失望，和陈明那丝不易察觉的难过。
下课后，我和陈明都磨磨蹭蹭的收拾书包留到了最后，收好了书包，我们互相看向对方。“对不起!”我们异口同声地说出了这句话，说完又同时笑出了声，其实我们早已原谅了彼此。
真正的友谊不会因为一些小事而破碎，所以，我和陈明在小木船时件后不仅和好如初，而且友谊更加坚固了!
