提起电脑，相信大家都非常熟悉。电脑又叫电子计算机。如今，随着科技的发展，电脑已走进千家万户。
电脑一般分为两大类；一类是个人电脑，个人电脑有台式的，笔记本的，最新式的是平板的。另一类是超级电脑，每秒的运算速度在亿次以上，主要用在银行、科研、军事等方面。
电脑由硬件系统和软件系统组成。电脑的硬件系统主要由主机、显示器、键盘、鼠标、音箱、摄像头等组成。主机就是电脑的主管，就像我们的头脑，控制着电脑每天的工作。显示器就像我们的眼睛，把所有工作的成果展示给我们看。键盘上有26个英文字母键，方向键，数字键和几个重要按键，是电脑主要的输入设备。鼠标就像一只老鼠似的扒在桌子上，可是作用非常大，可以灵活地指挥各种应用程序。音箱可以带领我们进入美妙的音乐世界。摄像头可以让我们足不出户，与世界各地的人们交流。电脑的软件系统分为两类；一类是操作系统软件，主要有windows操作系统和Linux操作系统等，最原始的是dos操作系统。它们是计算机底层的系统软件，负责管理、调度、指挥计算机的软硬件资源使其协调工作，没有它，任何计算机都无法正常运行。它在资源使用者和资源之间充当中间人的角色，举个例子，一个用户（也可以是程序）将一个文件存盘，操作系统就会开始工作：管理磁盘空间的分配，将要保存的信息由内存写到磁盘等。当用户要运行一个程序时，操作系统必须先将程序载入内存，当程序执行时，操作系统会让程序使用CPU。另一类是应用软件，可以办公，也可以游戏，还能保证安全等等。
电脑的用途很多：可以上网，例如聊天、发邮件、听音乐，玩游戏、登Q、查资料等；可以管理资料，比如学校的图书室里的电脑是用来登记图书借出去情况的；可以记帐，比如超市里的计算机，就是拿来记帐的；还可以控制生产，比如水泥厂里的电脑能自动控制生产。瞧，电脑真是各方面的能人！
电脑与人们的生活息息相关，让人们的生活变得更美好。

说明文是以说明为主要表达方式用来说明事物，阐明事理的`一种文体。它通过揭示概念来说明事物的特征、本质及其规律性，给人准确的科学知识或正确思想。一般可分为实体事物说明和抽象事物说明两大类，词典、教材、论文、实验报告、产品说明书、广告、解说词及科学小品等都属于说明文。
按写作方法,英语说明文主要分为下面六种类型
1.例证法 2.定义法 3.分类法 4.因果关系法 5.比较对照法 6.过程分析法
1.例证法
Our life today depends very much on energy. For example, machines have made our life easier than it used to be. The machines use energy, and energy is needed for heating, lighting, communications, carrying goods-everything. Factories use a great deal of energy to make the things that we use and buy and sell.
这段主要是讲能源问题。第一句为主题句,概括地说出"我们目前的生活很大程度上依赖能源"。接着用举例的方法从三方面说明能源的作用。
2.定义法
An ideal teacher must have the following characteristics. He should know his subject, but he can make mistakes if he is willing to learn. His personality is as important as his scholarship. An ideal teacher must be enthusiastic. He should be a bit of an actor and he shouldn't be afraid to show his feelings and express his likes and dislikes. An ideal teacher is one who grows, learns, and improves himself along with his students.
本段的展开是通过对"一个模范教师"下定义的方法,关键词"ideal teacher"在文中多次重复,能加深读者的印象。
3.分类法
As far as political views are concerned, people fall into three categories. First are the conservative people. Conservatives are opposed to sudden or great changes. Second are the liberal people. These people are in favour of progress and reform. But their opinions often seem too idealistic. Third are the moderate people. The moderates keep everything within reasonable limits. They are more practical in this hard world. In my opinion, most people seem to belong to this group.
本段把人按政治观点分为三类:保守派(conservative people、自由派(liberal people和温和派(moderate people,并对他们各自的特征进行了简要的分析。
4.因果关系法
Of the four seasons, I like spring best. I prefer spring because it is a season of much joy and gaiety. New life bursts out everywhere. Plants wear a green coat again and colourful flowers blossom in gardens and mountains. The old come outdoors for fresh air and the young plan for outdoor activities. Life becomes so energetic and happy.
第一句为本段主题句,末句是总结句。在主题句后, 作者用了四个句子阐述自己喜欢春天的理由。
5.比较对照法
I like having a twin sister. When she's happy, I'm happy. When she feels unhappy, I feel the same. Often, I know what she's going to say. Sometimes, I know what she's thinking. I like what she likes. I hate what she hates. We like the same music, the same food and the same books.
这段采用AB交错的比较方式,阐述孪生姐妹的相同特征。这种写法较流畅自然,给读者的印象也更鲜明突出。
6.过程分析法
There are several steps to plant a tree. First, dig a hole large enough for the tree, but the hole should not be too deep. Second, put the tree in the hole so that it is straight. Third, put the earth back into the hole again. Push it down hard with your foot several times. Finally, water the tree well, as often as possible.
这段分析了植树过程中的几个步骤。全段层次分明,连接词语(first, second, third, finally的使用加强了语句的连贯性。

If you want to travel by underground in London, you should first find the nearest underground entrance and buy a token for 30 pence in the booth. 11月19日下午我收到了杨校长送我的一本书，书名为《王金战能才方案学习哪有那么难》。收到这本书让我感到既惊喜又意外，杨校长每天早出晚归，工作那么忙，心里还想着学校哪些老师的孩子上高中了，帮我们推荐适合我们阅读的书籍，真是让我太感动、太感谢了，所以这本书我读得很认真。
读了这本书让我受益匪浅。今年我的女儿上高中了，我认为上高中学习就是孩子自己的事情，我们父母每天只是接送孩子，给她吃饱穿暖，做好后勤部长就行了。虽然每天看着孩子学习压力比较大，也帮不上什么忙，只能心里着急，没什么办法。但读了王老师的书，让我很震撼，很感动。王老师是一名非常优秀的老师， 教学经验非常丰富，能根据各个学生的特点，实行他特有的教学方法，让每个学生都能发挥自己的潜能，扬长弊端，让人非常佩服。
实践证明，创设良好的学习环境，不仅有利于聋生熟练掌握并正确运用语言，而且极大地激发了他们学习的积极性，对待学习，他们变得更大胆了，更勇敢了。

王老师是一个非常有才的老师，他在第一章中谈到自己演讲比赛拿第一的事迹，说的是人要有自信，是啊，作为一名演讲者，如果还没上台就觉得自己输了，那结果也不会好到哪去，可是王老师却有信心，避过自己的缺点，在内容上下工夫，最后功夫不负有心人，终于夺得第一名的好成绩。是啊，每个人都有自己的缺点，我们要做的不是整天为自己的缺点找借口，而是努力找到自己的优点，并且发扬之，才会最终有所成就。
在书中王老师教育学生，要科学用脑，用方法去学习，而不是扎头就学，没有目的没有效率的学习。学习是一项很快乐的事情，要带着愉快的心情科学的来完成它，那么你的成绩也就不知不觉的上升上来。对于老师来说，也是要做好一名优秀的老师，要科学的，讲究方法来教学，把教学当成一种快乐的事情来做，没有负担，没有其他的杂念，用心，用脑来研究每一节课，让学生快快乐乐的学习，有兴趣的学习，因为兴趣是学习的第一动力。
王老师在书中提到引导自己的女儿复习数学的事非常让我敬佩，他为女儿讲解的时间加起来也不到2个小时，可最后他女儿的数学成绩却提高了20多分。王老师教数学经验丰富，在复习时针对性非常强，这也是他经过认真钻研得出的结果，给女儿复习概率时就出八个题目，而且很有信心的说：今年高考的概率题肯定跑不出这八个题目去，而且他只是起到了一个引导的作用，剩下的就是让孩子自己去解析了。这样的父亲，这样的老师让人敬佩。作为一名优秀的老师，他给予学生的只是一个领路人，要走的路还得自己完成，然而这个领路者确实非常关键，他领的道路必须是正确的有效的，这样别人才能顺利到达目的地。
王老师的高考的经历让人很感动，他顽强学习克服种种困难，自己创造条件来读书，最终获得成功，他的精神源于自己考大学的动力，有了这个动力，再苦再难也要坚持下去，这是我们好多人都缺乏的。王老师说的话： “所谓的成功，就是即使只有百分之一的希望，也要付出百分之百的努力，最后把百分之一的希望变成百分之百的结果。”这句话不仅对学生有用，对每一个人都是受益匪浅的，王老师通过自己的勤奋努力，使自己从倒数第一变成了全班第一，这不是一件容易的事情，得需要很大的决心与毅力，并且长期坚持不懈才能成功的。
王老师书中的好多话都是非常值得思考的，他的教育方法，教学策略，及沟通的巧妙，都是值得让我们学习的。他有着自己独特的教育理念，科学的教育方法，让学生，让家长都非常佩服。
看完这本书，我把书中的经典案例讲给女儿听，和她一起分析、探讨寻找适合自己的学习方法，让孩子用快乐的心情去学习，掌握正确的学习方法，保持良好的学习心态。只要孩子有时间我就给她看书中我精选出来的的故事，孩子由衷的说：“他要是我的老师多好啊!”我也要改变我以前的观点，不能只做后勤部长，还要做孩子的良师益友，当她忠实的听众，帮她解除困惑。
最后，我用王老师书中的`话勉励孩子：成绩下降并不可怕，可怕的是当你成绩下降时，你没有勇气再提高上去，学习的过程本身就是一个丰富人生的过程，成也高兴，败也高兴，成有成的快乐，败有败的回味，只有不怕失败的人，才配取得最后的成功。
