我的同桌沈宇博，长得胖胖的，一张圆脸肥嘟嘟的，人高马大，特别爱玩游戏。

记得有一天的自然课上，我正在专心致志的听老师讲课。突然，一个纸团从我眼前飞了过去，我定睛一看，原来是沈宇博在传纸条给他的好朋友——宋章彬。等纸条在从宋章彬那传过来时，我偷偷一看，原来他俩正在“纸上谈兵”——聊游戏。

我的同桌是一个有时很活波有时很沉默的女孩， 她有着一双灵动的眼睛，乌黑亮丽的秀发，每天梳着马尾辫，整个看起来是很潇洒很帅的。

“严于律己，宽以待人”这句话是我的座右铭，它就像人生道路上的一座灯塔，照亮我前进的方向。
每当想到这句话，我就会想起那个难忘的夜晚。那天晚上，放学回到家，我感到疲惫不堪，我把沉甸甸的书包甩在沙发上，抓过遥控器，歪在沙发上，打开电视，津津有味地看了起来。
我本想休息半个小时后再去认真写作业，可是电视就像可口的冰激凌一样，吸引着我，时间如白驹过隙，稍纵即逝，当我从梦一般的陶醉感中“醒”来时，发现已经过去了两个多小时，我感到很自责：我不是跟妈妈说好了只看三十分钟吗？可又转念一想：反正妈妈又不督促我，我在看两分钟，何乐而不为呢？两股力量在我心中短兵相接！正在我难以抉择之时，妈妈的声音突然传出来：“不是看三十分钟吗？怎么还粘在电视上？”“再看一会，马上……看完！”这时，妈妈走到了我身边，温柔而的面庞变得严肃起来：“孩子，学习是你自己的事，如果你在这样下去，没有自控能力，将来你走上工作岗位，会吃大苦头的！生活中对待朋友这种大大哈哈不计较的性格是好的，但对自己这样低要求，你将来休想干成大事啊！记住，‘严于律己，宽以待人’的人才能享受到生活的快乐！”听了妈妈的话，我顿时感到羞愧无比妈妈的话多么中肯，对待学习，我粗心大意；对待纪律，我随随便便；对待时间，任其逝去，这样下去，怎么得了？一时间，这八个字在我心头闪闪发光，铭刻在心。
我没有说什么，关掉电视，回到书房，认认真真的写起了作业。那一天，我写的字格外漂亮；书写速度格外快；检查的时候格外仔细；心里也格外的静……从此以后，当我面对诱惑时，我就会情不自禁的.想起这八个字，就会顿时心如止水；当我消极，懈怠时又会想起这八个字，立刻精神抖擞；当我粗枝大叶，敷衍了事时，我就会想起这八个字，马上严肃慎重起来；但我面对别人的误解和批评时，想到这八个字，迅速把气恼抛之脑后……
严于律己，可以使自己越来越完美；宽以待人，可以和别人越来越和谐。我相信，把这八个字作为我的座右铭，我的人生将乘风破浪，直挂云帆济沧海。
