Today is May Day. My mother father and me went to park to have a picnic, and then visited my grandma and grandpa.
We got up at 6:00 and had our breakfast at 6:30 in the morning. At 9:00, we went to park for picnic, we took juice, cornflakes, apples, oranges, lollipops, bananas, ice creams, mangoes, and so on. I also took toys, such as doll, ball, balloon, skateboard and a kite.
In the afternoon at 14:00, we went to visit my grandma and grandpa. I helped grandpa to do some house work. My sister and me played skateboard and doll. At 20:00 we went home, and played computer games for two hours and then went to bed.
Today I’m very happy!

说到泰山，想必大家都很熟悉。没错，就是五岳之首——东岳泰山。泰山的雄伟壮观可以从泰山山下，往上面看，泰山仍然气势磅礴，不同凡响。
登临泰山我们从九曲十八盘登上最高峰。十八盘是泰山最险的一条山路，共有石阶1600余级，两山崖壁如削，陡峭的盘路镶嵌其中，远远望去，恰似天门云梯。泰山之雄伟，尽在十八盘;泰山之壮美，尽在攀登中!泰山之奇观，尽在泰山顶。我们登上泰山顶，举目远眺，只见山外有山，景外有景，无限风光，摄人心魄。
在泰山顶上看日出真是壮观而动人心弦，随着旭日发出的第一缕曙光撕破黎明前的黑暗，从而使东方天幕由漆黑而逐渐转为鱼肚白、红色，直至耀眼的金黄，喷射出万道霞光，最后，一轮火球跃出水面，腾空而起，整个过程象一个技艺高超的魔术师，在瞬息间变幻出千万种多姿多彩的画面，令人叹为观止。
在泰山顶上看晚霞夕照更是变化多端。当雨过天晴，天高气爽，夕阳西下的时候，若漫步泰山极顶，仰望西天：朵朵残云如峰似峦，一道道金光穿云破雾，直泻人间。在夕阳的映照下，云峰之上均镶嵌着一层金灿灿的亮边，闪烁着奇珍异宝般的光辉。
在泰山顶上观云海玉盘简直是一奇特仙境。夏天，雨后初晴，大量水蒸气蒸发上升，加之夏季从海上吹来的暖温空气被高压气流控制在海拔1500米左右的高度时，如果无风，在顶上就会看见白云平铺万里，犹如一个巨大的玉盘悬浮在天地之间。远处的群山全被云雾吞没，只有几座山头露出云端;近处游人踏云驾雾，仿佛来到了天外。微风吹来，云海浮波，诸峰时隐时现，像不可捉摸的仙岛，风大了，玉盘便化为巨龙，上下飞腾，倒海翻江。
在泰山顶上看黄河金带更是一道奇观。黄河金带——新霁无尘、夕阳西下时，举目远眺，在泰山的西北边，层层峰峦的尽头，还可看到黄河似一条金色的飘带闪闪发光;或是河水反射到天空、造成蜃景，均叫“黄河金带”。它波光鳞鳞，银光闪烁，黄白相间，如同金银铺就，从西南至东北，一直伸向天地交界处。清代诗人袁枚在《登泰山诗》中对黄河金带描写生动而传神：“一条黄水似衣带，穿破世间通银河”。

放假喽!爸爸妈妈带我去泰安爬泰山。
到了山脚下，我抬头望，啊!一座座高大、雄伟的山连绵起伏，就像波涛汹涌的海浪。山上的树木郁郁葱葱还奇形怪状的，有的像马尾辫、有的像哨兵、还有的像拐杖呢!
到半山腰有一棵松树叫“迎客松”，它展开双臂，正在迎接四面八方的游客呢!
到了山顶上，往下看，人们像密密麻麻的小蚂蚁，长长的盘山路像一条白丝带缠绕着一座座山。
泰山的景色优美，就像被大自然这位魔术师变得绘声绘色。

Founder of Labor Day
More than 100 years after the first Labor Day observance， there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.
Some records show that Peter J. McGuire， general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor， was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."
But Peter McGuire"s place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire， a machinist， not Peter McGuire， founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire， later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson， N.J， proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.
