我爱水，我爱欢快活泼的小溪，我爱汹涌澎湃的黄河，我爱奔腾不息的长江，也爱深沉浩翰的大海，但是，我更爱美丽温柔的镜子——-湖！湖是平静的，宛如明镜一般，清晰地映出绿的树，红的花，蓝的天，白的云；湖是软软的，微风习习，波纹条条，像一幅迎风飘舞的丝绸；湖是活的，层层鳞浪迎风而起，伴着跳跃的阳光，伴着我的心在追逐，在嬉戏。我想：湖中一定有个水晶宫，水晶宫中有一块巨大的翡翠，不然湖水怎么会那样绿呢？
有时湖也会穿上花衣裳。你瞧那儿！桃花瓣片片悠然地落在湖面上激起层层美丽的\'波纹，湖就“变身”啦，原来它那碧绿色的大衣又嵌上了几朵小桃花，多美呀！可能小蚂蚁们会乘载着桃花小船游到对岸去，建立一个蚂蚁港湾呢！有时柳树姑娘也会把自己的“牛皮筋”摘下来丢进湖里，湖面上就又多了一种浅绿色的丝带。静时的湖是可爱的，雨中的湖水更是惹人喜爱。小雨点乘着降落伞降临时，湖面上最热闹，朵朵雨花竞相开放，湖面上便马上开了一个小小的故事会，在风中讲述着一个个动人的童话！当然也邀请每一位喜爱湖的小朋友来参加。湖，总是那样温柔。它可能不是很起眼，可在我的眼中，它却以自已特有的美深深吸引了我。

The manner in which TV series in the UK are aired can be highly frustrating at times. Sometimes you only get three episodes of a show and then nothing else for a couple of years.
