今年5月，我终于达成了我期盼已久的愿望。前一天，我们就来到了北京，先住在一个宾馆中，没想到，宾馆中也住了很多旅游的人，他们也要看庄严地升国旗仪式。
第二天，天没亮爸爸就急急地叫我，我一骨碌就爬起来，跟着直奔天安门广场。不一会就到了那儿，大家都来得很早，热情也很高，也许这正是五星红旗的魅力所在。天依旧漆黑，华灯却把整个广场照的如同白昼，我们兴奋的四下望着，呼吸着新鲜的空气，感受着新鲜的气息……
我们静静地伫立在旗杆前，仰着头，洁白的旗杆在天幕中愈发显得至高无上。
就这样，我们静静地伫立在这充满寒意的晨曦中，没有一个人说话，周围很静，仿佛连自己的心跳声也听得见。
渐渐的，远山露出了鱼肚白，参加升旗仪式的人也多起来，华灯全熄了，广场笼上灰蒙蒙的色调，我心中不觉又增添了些苍茫、雄伟的感觉。我睁大了眼睛遥望城门洞，神圣而真诚的默默地期盼着……
终于，人群***动起来，争相望去，国旗班的卫士们擎着共和国那第一面五星红旗来了，他们迈着坚实有力的正步，英姿飒爽的走来了，他们站好，又按动电钮，五星红旗又一次冉冉升起来了。
我注视着国旗在晨光中缓缓升起，忽然感觉到了一种从未有过的激动。我觉得这面鲜红的旗帜上写满了旧中国屈辱的历史和那些先烈的光辉业绩，他们为了这面国旗的升起，不惜抛头流血英勇战斗。我又仿佛看到，这面鲜红的旗帜上写满了我国在各个领域上都取得了巨大成就，无数的奇迹都在这块土地上诞生了。而我们，同是炎黄子孙，我们难道不该把自己的全部奉献给那面五星红旗吗？我们应该刻苦努力，用知识、科学卫护我们的祖国，强壮我们的祖国。
国旗飘起来了，经历了数不尽沧桑变化的中国，又一次升起了他的国旗。我耳畔又仿佛响起了“中国人民站起来了”的`声音，心中蓦的升起了一种无比神圣的使命感和责任感。
我久久的伫立在国旗下，望着那一面共和国的旗帜，仿佛看见了一个富强、崭新的祖国在走向我，走向我们每一个人。
