奥玛拥有了翅膀，出院后，每天都在操场上坐着，欣赏着自己美丽的翅膀。可是翅膀也给她带来了不方便：她的每件衣服都必须有两条长长的缝；她每天晚上不得不爬着睡觉。尽管这样不方便，但是奥玛自己还是很爱她来之不易的漂亮的翅膀。
她不甘心，她的翅膀不会飞。于是，她每天在操场上狂奔，拼命地扇动着翅膀，每扇动以下，她就会感到钻心的疼痛，扇久了，翅膀滴出了血，鲜血在夕阳的照耀下，显得格外刺目。
终于有一天，奥玛在同学们惊诧的目光中飞上了天，天空中展翅的她，头上顶着太阳美丽的光束，看起来真的很象天使。
其实在当年，天使还说了一句话：“只要你肯努力，有一天还是会飞上天空的。”
