i am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, december sooner, but when i have told you the reason, i trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. when your letter arrived, i was just in hong kong. as my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when i took it up. now the first thing i have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
i enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. i shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when i see you next.

我有一个小伙伴，身高大概140厘米，瓜子似的脸形，有一张口齿伶俐的嘴巴，笑起来还有梨涡呢！她的性格总是变化多端，有时候她趴着桌子上，都会以为她在哭，没想到她猛地抬起头来朝你做了个鬼脸，总是让人猜不透，接着她还会做很多的小动作，使人头脑混乱。
告诉你吧！她就是陈诗语，是我特别好的闺蜜，她自创了很多小妙招，了解一下她吧！
陈氏“飞毛腿”
有一次，我上卫生间出来，陈诗语朝我这边跑来，我还以为她有什么急事，便与她相向而行。没想到她来了个“急刹车”马上使你心跳加速，趁你没注意，放出了陈氏“飞毛腿”差点把我放倒。幸好我心宽体胖，她那一阵风都能吹倒的身子怎能动摇的到我？她见这招对我不管用，便嬉皮笑脸地去拽下一个目标。
她不仅独创了陈氏“飞毛腿”，还有下一招呢！
陈氏“飞机腿”
再次，是上体育课的时候，陈诗语跑过来对我说：“哎，小英子，给你说件事，首先，要你把眼睛闭上。”于是，我闭上了眼睛。谁知道她悄无声息地把我的杯子拿走了。等我反应过来的时候她却已经跑得无影无踪，她那种速度像闪电一样快，让你也懒得去追，可是不追不行啊！我要我的杯子啊！我又气又恨的猛追过去……。
这就是我的闺蜜，她可不止这二种妙招哦！再说说她性格吧！
就在上个月，是她生日，我精心挑选了一个礼物，待我送她时，她仔细打量一番，装着一点也不喜欢的样子，说：“不要，这么丑。”我太了解她了，我知道她受之有愧，不好意思收，我也装着无所谓的态度。说：“什么，丑那好吧！我这就把它扔了。”她急忙抢过去，说：“不行，扔掉你舍得吗？还是给我吧。”我不想再为难她，便把礼物递给了她，我们一起开心地笑了。
这就是她性格，倔强又逞能的她，她就是我的闺蜜——陈诗语。
