快期末了，老师决定让我们从《现代文》中挑一篇喜欢的文章，再把他背下3~4段，明天要比赛。讲完后，同学们马上开始做自己的事儿了。我呢!左翻右翻，选哪一篇好呢?选《火光》吧!不行，这肯定很多人选这篇文章。那读《一把大雨伞》，我沉思了一下。“行，就读这篇。”
于是，我也匆匆忙忙地来背书了。那几天，学习很紧张，一会儿做作业，一会儿又要背书。忙得我不可开交。所以，时间十分紧凑。那时侯的.我牢牢的记住了一句话：“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴。”
离比赛的时间越来越少。比赛前，老师说：“我们的要求是：再背文章之前，要讲清楚为什么要背这篇文章，它有什么含义，我们比赛的满分是十分，要大方，有感情。”比赛开始了。不一会儿 ，轮到我上场了。我紧张得连讲解含义都忘了。但是，我还是落落大方地背了出来，获得了9、5分。
经过上下午的比赛，成绩分别出来了。第一名：石星月9、7分。第二名我9、5分，贾豪彬9、2分。老师分别奖给我们奖品，我兴奋极了!虽然，这个小小的礼物，但是对我还是难忘不已。
