Dear Editor,
I have been reading your newspaper for many years with a great enthusiasm and interest. It is my honor to write you this letter to give my views on the issue of “White Pollution”. It is my view that the limitation of the use of disposable plastic bags is of utmost significance.
I would like to make the following suggestions to put an effective stop to the wide spread of “White Pollution”. Firstly, we should ban the free use of the plastic bags. Secondly, the price of plastic bags should be further raised. Thirdly, media like your newspaper should do more to encourage the public to use paper or clothing bags to replace the plastic bags.
I hope my suggestions would be of help and thank you for your attention.

I am a student of our university, who often spend my spare time in our library. Generally speaking, our library provides quite good service. However, I still have some suggestions for you to upgrade the quality of your service.
To begin with, I would like you to prolong the open time. In the daytime, most students are having classes. To continue, some books are too old/ are out of date. It would be better if you could replace them with updated materials.

这是我读的第二本东野圭吾的小说。
如第一本《解忧杂货铺》一样，读的最快的书，这次是三天，其实昨天晚上剩下几十页原本可以读完，可是胆小的我真的不敢读完，因为最后真正的X4出现了，只是一些文字就可以让我浑身起鸡皮疙瘩，赶紧转移注意力，看看其他轻松的东西，关机手机睡觉，白天接着读完。
东野圭吾的这部《假面饭店》不像《解忧杂货铺》那样烧脑，可是依然令人佩服作者缜密的逻辑思维，和细腻的人物形象，人物的一个动作，神态描写都是细致入微，带入感强烈。
前面出现的所有人物，各类层出不穷的事假，看似不相关的入住的客人，其实都是为最后的X4出场做铺垫。回头看来正是因为前面强调赘述山岸尚美优秀的职业素养，以顾客至上，为了保护入住客人的隐私而拒绝长仓麻贵找人的要求，而埋下怨恨。新田正是因为学生时期为了维护同学而让老师蒙羞，从而受到心灵伤害，严重影响今后的工作与生活。当再次相遇，激起心中所有的怨恨从而发泄报复……
东野圭吾的作品魅力还在于直击人心，引人思考。书中是一间高级饭店，顾大局利益的管理者，优秀的饭店员工，掩饰身份卧底的刑警，形形色色的客人们。还有现实中的我们何尝不是在不同的环境场合扮演着不同的角色。因为那层面具是我们的保护色。像是我们看似开心快乐其实孤独的心。看似强大独当一面其实脆弱的心。看似话来开口侃侃而谈其实匮乏的心......
回归现实，我们何尝不是想展示最好一面的自己。摘掉面具，我们还是我们，我还是我。

All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and dancing parties provide ample opportunities to make friends.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express/air dissatisfaction/disappointment/concern regarding accommodation. I would prefer to move into a single room next semester, as I find the present sharing arrangement inconvenient.
I must explain that the reason for my dissatisfaction is my roommate’s inconsiderate behavior. For one thing, his friends are constantly visiting him; for another, he regularly holds noisy parties.
To solve this problem/surmount this difficulty/improve this situation/crack this hard nut, I hope to draw the attention of the authorities concerned. I am sure you will agree that the only solution for me is to move into a room of my own. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could find a single room for me, preferably not in the same building but as near to the college campus as possible.
