Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

今天是“三八“妇女节，我特别希望妈妈能在这个节日里过得快乐。妈妈平时早出晚归，还要在家里承担我们全家的家务活。在我的学习上，妈妈不知道操了多少心，虽然有时我做错了题目，妈妈会打我，但我知道妈妈也是为我好。
我想妈妈每天工作一定很累，也很辛苦。不如，我为妈妈做一件家务事，让妈妈轻松点。于是我看了看鞋架上，妈妈的鞋沾着许多灰尘和一些脏泥巴。有了!我可以为妈妈擦鞋呀!我马上拿来小椅子，刷子和鞋油，开始擦鞋。我先用刷子把鞋子上的灰尘和泥巴刷干净，然后挤出一点儿鞋油到鞋面上，用刷子使劲地擦着，就这样左擦擦，右擦擦等鞋油擦得均匀一些，五分钟后再用丝绸布条从头到尾的擦一遍。呀!我费了九牛二虎之力，鞋子竟被我擦得可以照得见人影!这时，我满头大汗喘着气说：我终于---明白了父母们的一片苦心了，我---才做了这么一件小小的---家务活，就累成这样。妈妈天天如此，一定更辛苦。我用袖子擦了擦额头的汗水，把鞋子捧给妈妈看，妈妈笑嘻嘻地说：”媛媛真是一个懂事的好孩子，学会帮妈妈做事了，这可是妈妈收到的最好的节日礼物呀!“
听了这话，我心里美滋滋的，我觉得用一次自己辛勤的劳动来换一次明白爸爸妈妈的苦心是值得去做的。今后我要做一些力所能及的事情，来减少妈妈的负但!

从小到大，我每天和妈妈生活在一起，过着无忧无虑的日子。却从来没有仔细地观察过妈妈，也没有过妈妈的辛苦，更别提为她做一次美味的`早餐了。
今天，我早早的就醒了，蹑手蹑脚地爬起床，悄悄地走出了房间，洗漱穿戴好后，我来到厨房，想起了妈妈以前每天早上早早地就起来为我做早餐，当她忙好后，我才慢吞吞地起床，甚至还傻傻地认为妈妈每天做早餐是理所应当的事，现在，我才觉悟，认为妈妈太辛苦，太劳累了。今天，就让我来为妈妈做一顿美味的早餐吧!我把围裙系在身上，便开始“工作”了。
我从冰箱里拿出了两个鸡蛋，准备把它打到碗里，可是小鸡蛋却一点都不乖，一点也不听话，总是弄得到处都是，但我并不气馁，在浪费了三个鸡蛋之后，我终于把两个鸡蛋都打好了。接着，我又舀了半勺盐放入碗里，从架子里抽出了一根筷子，不停的搅拌着鸡蛋，直到搅均匀为止。然后我又从菜篮子里拿了两个番茄，把它放到了菜板上，拿出一把菜刀，小心翼翼地切了起来--先从中间切开，然后切成一小块一小块的，放到一只小碗里，等着待会儿和鸡蛋一起下锅。炒的菜准备好后，我又把豆浆机拿了出来，学着妈妈的样子从盒子里抓了一把五谷，把它们放进豆浆机里，按了按上面的按钮，便去炒鸡蛋了。啊!这才是我施展真正实力的时候:我先把鸡蛋倒入锅中，用铲子不停的翻炒，油溅得我满脸都是，我并不管它，接着炒，直至炒熟为止。这时，我才腾出手来擦了擦脸上的油渍，然后把鸡蛋盛起来，把番茄倒进去，加入小半勺盐，炒出汁来，再把鸡蛋放下去，又炒了炒，看着它渐渐入味后，我便把它盛了起来。
这时，妈妈从房间里走了出来，看见我炒好的鸡蛋和打好的豆浆已经摆在了桌上，眼泪就溢满了眼眶，我冲上去紧紧抱住了妈妈，激动地说出了:“妈妈我爱你!”这五个字，妈妈的脸上浮现出一丝红晕，露出欣慰的神情，眼睛里充满了喜悦，她用温暖的大手擦去了我脸上留下的油渍，喃喃地说:“蓓蓓，我也爱你。”我忍不住背过脸去。妈妈又说道:“傻孩子，知道心疼妈妈了，我的女儿长大了，真是妈妈的贴心小棉袄呀!”我心里舒服极了，向被蜜糖包裹着，甜甜的。
在你生病时，是谁为你送上一杯泡好的热茶?在你难过时，是谁为你擦去眼中的泪花?在你失败时，是谁为你说一句鼓励的话?在你成功时，是谁脸上绽放出美丽的鲜花?是妈妈，我们最爱的母亲!
正当我看着我的“杰作”沾沾自喜时，妈妈回来了。我连忙迎上去：“妈妈你快看，我专门为你做的菜，祝你生日快乐!”妈妈抚摸着我的头，笑着说：“好孩子，你真懂事啊，我真要好好谢谢你。”我拉着妈妈：“不用谢，这是我应该做的，你平时那么辛苦，对我那么关心和照顾，我要谢谢你才对。走，去尝尝我做的菜吧。”妈妈听后，由衷地笑了。
爱是阳光，爱是雨露，妈妈爸爸给了我们那么多阳光和雨露，我们是不是也应该用茁壮成长、健康快乐、越来越聪明、懂事来回报他们呢?让我们人人都有着一颗感恩的心，去好好孝顺、回报自己的父母吧!

我盼啊盼，终于盼到了晚上，妈妈下班了，她一进门，我赶忙让她坐到沙发上，并端起事先准备好的一盆水。“要干嘛呀?”妈妈满脸疑惑地看着我。“给您洗脚啊!”我漫不经心的回答道。说完，便帮妈妈把袜子脱下来，把脚放进水盆中。谁知，妈妈的脚尖一触到水面便“嗖”地一声缩回去了。怎么回事?我满腹疑问。便用手试了试水。啊!真烫!这水的温度能把手上的皮给烫起来!哎呀，我真糊涂，怎么给妈妈洗脚前不试试水温呢?于是，我对妈妈说：“妈妈，对不起，我再帮你添一点凉水。”妈妈点了点头。于是，我便端起盆来到水龙头前，接了一些凉水。这回，我可长记性了，用手试了试水。“嗯，正好!”于是我把水给妈妈端去，并把妈妈的脚重新放倒水盆中，给妈妈洗起脚来，妈妈的脚洗好了，接下来，就要给爸爸洗脚了。
面对爸爸那双臭臭的`脚，我只好戴上手套和口罩。我把水给端了过来，轻轻得把爸爸的脚给放入水中，脚洗好了。可我还是闻到一股脚臭味，看我没洗干净啊!于是，我把水给倒掉了，换了一盆干净的水，并拿上了舒服佳沐浴露，我把沐浴露按了一下，用手把水搞均匀了，再接爸爸的脚再放进水中。终于不臭了。
成长难忘父母思，我们的成长，是离不开父母的，没有父母也就没有我们今天成绩!孝敬一下父母吧，他们为我们付出的是半辈子，而我们如果连一点也不为父母做，就会显得太“不孝”了!“谁言寸草心，报得三春辉”!朋友们，行动吧!

今天是妈妈的生日，妈妈平时很辛苦，总是忙里忙外的，今天总该放松一下了吧。于是我准备为妈妈做两道菜，让妈妈尝尝我的手艺。可是做什么好呢？我左思右想，大菜嘛，我的手艺拿不出手，那，就做两道小菜吧。经过一番斟酌，我定下了菜谱：一个热菜一个凉菜，热的番茄炒鸡蛋，凉的拌黄瓜。趁现在，妈妈还没回来，我一遛烟儿地冲进了厨房。
进到厨房，我一下子有了当大厨的感觉。开始做菜了，我从菜篮里拿出两个又红又大的番茄，把它们用清水洗净后，放进一碗滚烫的开水里，这样可以在撕皮时轻而易举。趁着烫番茄的功夫，我又从冰箱里拿出三个鸡蛋，从消毒柜里拿出一个碗。然后我把鸡蛋在碗边上轻轻一击，鸡蛋被磕出一条缝，我双手各捏着鸡蛋的两头，用力一掰，“啪”的一声，蛋清和蛋黄落在了碗里，而碎成两半的蛋壳“魂归垃圾桶”。我拿起筷子在装着鸡蛋的碗里搅来搅去，搅几下洒一点，狼狈及了。经过我的不懈努力，终于搅好了鸡蛋。打完鸡蛋，番茄烫的也差不多。我用筷子把番茄夹起来，轻轻一撕，番茄皮大块大块的迅速地被我揭完了。我拿起菜刀，把它们大卸八块。
好了，番茄和鸡蛋准备完毕！接下来该是最难完成的“炒”了。
我点燃天然气炉，把菜油倒入炒锅里，等到油锅滚烫时，我把鸡蛋倒进锅里，炒了几下，便把番茄放进去。这时锅里溅起了油星儿，我丝毫不害怕，继续“工作”。突然想到还没放调料，赶忙放入一些盐和味精，一阵手忙脚乱之后，终于闻到了鸡蛋的香味，便赶紧拿出妈妈最喜欢的青花瓷盘子，把“胜利果实”盛上，小心翼翼地端上了餐桌。
接着是凉拌黄瓜。拌黄瓜很简单，我几乎没遇到什么问题，不费吹灰之力就做好了，我把它放在玻璃碗里。玻璃碗的晶莹剔透，配上黄瓜的鲜黄嫩绿，看了令人心旷神怡。
