生活中常常有优势与劣势之分，人们往往本着“良禽择木而栖”、“识时务者为俊杰”的心态，过多的依赖优势。是的，一些人确实实现了“好风凭借力，送我上青天”的梦想；但是，深究其中，我们也不难发现许多人跌倒在自己的优势上，最终覆水难收。
面对优势，谁人不想借东风以轻扬？面对人才优势，刘备桃园结义、三顾茅庐，亲贤臣，远小人，建立了西蜀政权；面对经济优势，郑和打造航船、七下西洋，买珍宝，卖湖丝，开辟了海上丝绸之路；面对思想优势，马克思沿着伏尔泰、费尔巴哈、黑格尔的足迹，理论联系实际，提出了唯物辩证法……
可是，朋友，为什么我们对优势敬若神明，而优势却躲在墙角向我们窃窃冷笑：
倚仗优势，吴王夫差忘记了父辈的教训，坐拥歌舞，笑谈春风，放回了勾践，赐死了伍子胥，最终落得个身死国灭为天下笑的下场；
倚仗优势，蒋介石置民族存亡危机于不顾，打出了“攘外必先安内”的旗号，拒绝国共合作，遭到爱好和平的华夏儿女一致唾骂；
倚仗优势，麦克·阿瑟梦想在朝鲜战场上重温中途岛战事的辉煌，要以u－2歼击机两周之内结束小米加步枪的命运，但面对众志成城的中朝人民，精良装备的美式战线最终成了东方的“马奇诺”……
如果这些仍然解不开你心中的锁，那么，朋友，把你的手给我，握着我的手，听听我自己的故事。倚仗教育的优势，我拒绝了养花人的衷告，一意孤意，没有把花从盆里移栽到土地里，仍然时常浇水，结果－－还未等及春天的雨露，我的花已冻死在冬天的阳光里。过多地倚仗书本上的知识，使我忽略了自然的法则。
是的，朋友。利用攀登的优势，我们可以“欲穷千里目，更上一层楼”；过多的倚仗优势，我们就可能遭遇“不识庐山真面目，只缘身在此山中”的尴尬。
利用想象的优势，我们可以实现九天揽月的雄伟计划；过多的倚仗优势，我们就可能沉醉在黄粱一梦、不知所之的虚妄中。
