祈年殿造型美。从远处看祈年殿好像一把巨伞，立在圆形的高大的`石台基上。走近看祈年殿啊！祈年殿真高真大呀！高差不多有40米，直径大约有30米。深蓝的殿顶好像一顶帽子。洁白的台基犹如白云；深蓝的殿顶好像穹苍；柱子，彩画，鉴宝顶好像彩霞，而祈年殿像美丽的空中殿堂周围既有穹苍又被彩霞包围。多美呀！
走进祈年殿我发现祈年殿与其它宫殿不同的是不用大梁和长檩，只用楠木柱和枋桷相互衔接支撑屋顶。祈年殿里的楠木柱我数了数一共有28根。中间的4根龙柱高大约20米，龙柱可真粗啊！粗的我的手都抱不柱。中圈还有12根金柱。外层有12根巨柱。看到这里我才发现祈年殿中的柱子还是真有点奥秘呢！你看4根龙柱是不是四季的意思；12根金柱是一年十二个月的意思；12根巨柱是一天十二时辰的意思；12根金柱与12根巨柱相加等于二十四的意思是二十四节气；4根龙柱加12根金柱加12根巨柱等于二十八的意思是二十八宿，是不是很奇妙呢！地板的正中是一块圆形的大理石，上面有龙凤花纹，与殿顶的蟠龙相互呼应。让我觉得整座殿堂富丽堂皇。
啊！造型优美、结构特别的祈年殿，我爱你！
