今天早上，我和爸爸妈妈去爬武当山。
我们来到山门口，见牌坊上刻着三个朱红色的大字——武当山。买了票，坐上公共汽车，环山盘旋而上。讲解员告诉我们，武当山是我国闻名的道教圣地，全中国十大避暑胜地，武当拳的发源地。
我们又经过关帝庙、太子坡、紫霄宫，就到了乌鸦岭停车场。下了车，我们爬上南岩，看见房间里有一只背石碑的大乌龟，它宽3米，长3。5米，高3米，背上的\'石碑高4米。我想，这乌龟和西游记里的乌龟一样大，它一定是从通天河里跑出来的吧！天乙真庆宫石殿镶嵌在峭壁之间，有“楼阁飞空”之势。龙头香直悬峭壁之上，据说龙头香是祈福之地，为皇上专用。我想，古人真伟大，居然能在悬崖峭壁之间建造如此美丽、壮观的建筑。
游罢南岩，我们开始爬天柱峰，天柱峰海拔1612米，被誉为“一柱擎天”。我们经过榔梅祠、四座塔，就到了百步梯。百步梯非常陡峭，几乎是垂直的。我边走边数，一共163步，并非100步。我们经过朝天宫，一直往上爬了二个小时，妈妈说：“我们快要到金顶了！”。我一听，兴奋得加快步子向上冲，不一会儿，金顶便呈现在我们眼前。
金顶位于天柱峰之巅，据说，金顶是用金砖做的，摸一摸金砖，就会有好运。金顶在阳光的照耀下，金光灿灿，富丽堂皇，尽显皇家威严。极目远眺，七十二峰、三十六岩尽收眼底。奇峰耸立、白云缭绕、直插云霄，犹如清虚仙境。我们真的上天宫啦！
我依依不舍的离开金顶，从后山下山。后山山谷深幽、山路崎岖、鸟语花香、昆虫啾鸣、泉水叮咚，仿佛世外桃源。
